We had booked for lunch on a Friday at 1pm. Arrived at 12.50 and found the door locked. Tried to phone and just got an answering machine. Had to go elsewhere for lunch.
Catherine and I booked this restaurant and arrived for dinner, we were shown to our seats and given our menu’s, then the waitress left us, other parties arrived and were attended to before us, a group of 4, then a group of 5, we just sat there NOTHiNG, so anyway we got up and left, went up to Whitehead golf club, where we were treated very well with a great menu and lovely food, so what do we do now, drive past the Fuzzy Beak straight up to The golf club for some lovely food and a great view, so thanks Fuzzy Beak for helping us to find this hidden gem
My friend and I had an early dinner, before all the couples dinned out for Valentines day. We had a super meal at a great price. The menu is well constructed with plenty of well chosen dishes. My friends steak was flavoursome and very tender. I had sea bass which was beautifully cooked with a rich cassoulet. Desert was cheesecake, rich in flavour and lovely light texture.
All the staff are bright and friendly. They were attentive and efficient. In all an excellent experience, and I shall be going again soon.
