I have been a customer of the gardenshop.ie since they first appeared online well over a decade ago, as someone who is disabled and chronically ill, having a reliable and affordable online shop has made it so I could still do what I love, gardening, we have a two acre garden and everywhere you look you can see something that came from these wonderful humans and the quality is second to none, the odd time there has been a issue, usually down to the couriers they have fixed it immediately, during lockdown our neighbours destroyed our century old Hawthorne trees, I was devastated, I just wanted to replace them as soon as possible and the lads sorted me out with saplings immediately no questions asked, every item they stock is of the highest quality, as my health has deteriorated I have started to rely on vegetable plug plants a lot more rather than growing from seed myself, the plants are amazing quality and such great value, say compared to the likes of quick crop which are okay but a lot smaller and weaker. I think at this stage I've purchased multiple things from every section of there products, even Christmas trees and I've never once been disappointed, most places when they have a big expansion usually means loss of quality and care, but not with the gardenshop, the expansion to Solas has only made them better, you can also tell they are gardeners themselves which makes all the difference I think. Buy with confidence and thank you for all the years of top customer care everyone, you have no idea what it means to someone like me.

I placed an order on line for E128.74 to avoid delivery charges. Part of the order was for 4 bags of compost @ E10.44 each. I was surprised when the order arrived to see that written on the bags was 3 for 15 euro.
Contacted the store to be told that there was a delivery charge (?) of 4 euro added on per item and that the 3 for 15 offer didn't apply to online purchases.
I figure each of 3 bags should have cost 5 euro and if delivery charge of 4 euro added on would be 9 euro - I was charged 10.44 euro. I wa of the opinion that delivery over a certain amount was free but this is not the case

Excellent customer service from The Garden Shop, Craig answered my email promptly and got on to fastway couriers to see what happened, he also followed up making sure items were received. There are a lot of businesses out there that could learn from this company. It is my first time using The Garden Shop and I will shop with them again.

These guys know what 5 star customer service is, whether I call or get something delivered it is top notch at the right price. Also lovely place for lunch. The section for old Irish gifts is a great addition it brings back memories.
