I was assigned 3 solicitors in the 9 months I was with this firm and still no further forward. Very little communication with no chasing up on their part then had to pay the price for it. Avoid at all costs.

Had some issues trying to resolve details for a will so left my response to request to finalise for a long time; once I had everything in order, I sent an email... nothing back. Phoned, and advised the person dealing with it was on the phone... but would get back to me. Nothing has happened. The very least I would expect is some kind of response. Very unprofessional.
We just had to leave a review for Alison at the GLP who made the whole process of buying our first home flawless and completely stress free, couldn't recommend Alison and the GLP more, thanks again!
GLP carried out conveyancing services for us on a property we purchased recently. We found them very helpful, efficient and prompt and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for conveyancing solicitors. Special thanks to Jennifer and Krystal who were both very helpful and super efficient in their respective roles.
We received outstanding service from everyone especially from Suzanne.
Our Solicitor Suzanne made our journey so much easier.
Suzanne was so friendly, professional and efficient through the whole selling and buying process. We will 100% definitely recommend Suzanne and The Glasgow Law Practice to our family and friends. Thank you.
Jennifer McGovern at The Glasgow Law Practice dealt with the purchase of our first home. I can’t recommend Jennifer and the practice enough. Thoroughly professional throughout making the whole process as stress free as possible. Extremely personable, Jennifer went above and beyond and was always available to help with any question or query we had. Thanks for everything.
I recently instructed The Glasgow Law Practice to process the sale of my property. The team were fantastic from start to finish and acted both professionally and friendly. Ashley, who represented my affairs, was efficient and well prepared for the sale. As I was moving country, she prepared all the necessary paperwork in advance so there would be no hiccups while I was away. I fully recommend this practice and have only ever heard great reviews about them.
We had an excellent experience working with Glasgow Law Practice when buying our first home. The communication and support was great throughout our whole process. Would definitely recommend.
The Glasgow Law Practice dealt with the sale and purchase of my new home. They were so friendly, professional and efficient when dealing with my case. Would recommend and use again in the future!
Had issues with completion certificate during house sale. Ashley @THEGLASGOWLAWPRACTICE guided me through this
with ease enabling me to buy the house of my dreams very happy with the service with a smile.
Out to make money, unprofessional, lazy and incompetent.
This law practice encouraged me through telephone to plead not guilty to a charge.
At court for the first hearing the lawyer didn’t even bother to turn up at my plea. I had never been in court before and I was clueless.
A random lawyer from another practice took the paperwork I was given and said they would pass on to my lawyer. This was also advised to do so by text to my own lawyer.
Then at the trial hearing the paperwork was apparently lost but the Glasgow law practice made this out to be the fault of the procurator fiscal.
This was still during covid so there was no media or no one else present. The sheriff was actually compassionate towards me and knew this was my first offence. Looking back I think I would have been spared a heavy fine by this Sheriff. The lawyer that day was present when the Sheriff spoke about me in that way.
Instead, Glasgow law practice dragged this nightmare on. They gave rotten advice to still plead not guilty and so the court case was moved date 5 months later.
Come 5 months later and after meeting with the same Glasgow law practice lawyer to go over the missing paperwork, I arrive in court again to find he doesn’t even bother to show up. Instead, someone else filled in for him and this person didn’t have a clue about my case.
This new lawyer babbled absolute nonsense to the sheriff, who was clearly peeved off their client had changed their plea to guilty, and so had in their eyes wasted court time. I was given a heavy fine.
No one from Glasgow law practice informed me that a journalist there would possibly write a soul destroying story on me and sell it to numerous outlets, nor did they warn me of the strong possibility this well known mud raker would be standing outside court to take pics of me.
When I contacted the Glasgow law practice to say this media scandal had made me suicidal, they didn’t even bother to reply.
In hindsight I can see that the Glasgow law practice only cared about making money from me and even had the audacity during proceedings to tell me not to blame them later on for any advice they gave.
Avoid and find a practice which cares about clients. It could save your life.
Made an online enquiry for assistance with a legal matter. Received a phone call from a solicitor who did not provide her name, kept interrupting me and did not allow me to speak. Said she didn't understand what I was looking for but did not allow me to explain. She continued talking to me in a condescending manner to the point where I had to end the call as I simply didn't get a chance to speak let alone find out the name of the person I was talking to. I've never known anything quite like it. I'm totally astonished by the poor communication skills and professionalism displayed.
Overall, just a very slow response to my initial enquiry phone call (phoned three times overall ), really didn’t feel they wanted the task.
I only got a fast response when I used the Director “direct chat” on their website. I had to use this twice before I actually got a response from the Solicitor dealing with my case during the time period.
The solicitor I dealt with kept over-talking me which I found annoying. Didn’t feel she was really listening to what I was saying, born out by the fact they went to the wrong address.
Your paying a lot of money for legal services I just felt their client communications were poor.
Personally I won’t use them again, I have used them twice before and they were satisfactory.
I believe they are short staffed and that definitely explains the service levels, and slow response times.
