I received my gold pack, posted it off & got a phone call the next day from Ivan offering me £621, way more than expected, the cash was in my bank account that afternoon. Very pleased with the service, would use again.

I received a phone call from a gentleman from the gold company, I found him to be very personable and very professional. There was no pressure put on me to except the offer that was made . After I had made my decision to except the offer made things were clearly explained to me with a no rush manner . I felt It was all totally up to me . I have to say the offer was very good and very fair . The money was paid into my current account soon after our conversation. It was so easy and uncomplicated. I had a very quick reply after I sent what I wanted to sell very safe and securely . It was so nice not to have to go from shop to shop trying to get these things valued . Would definitely use them again … I highly recommend them 😊

Was sent the prepaid envelope, posted item, within 24 hours i received a call from them with an offer, unfortunately the offer was less than half of the value of the weight in scrap gold,

You hear and see the adverts stating quick service and payments and think to good to be true.
I received the envelope to post the item to them on the 15th Aug sent it back to the Gold Company that night and on the 16th got a call to state how much it was worth and within 10 minutes monies was in my account.
I am a genuine customer and got to say what service !!!!!!

Posted 3 items of old jewellery in pre-paid bag provided and posted , 24hrs later had a call with valuation, once i agreed money was in my account 10 min later.

From start to finish the process of selling my unwanted gold jewellery has been extremely easy and straight forward. The price I was offered for the gold was beyond my expectation. I would not hesitate in recommending The Gold Company. You won’t regret it.

So simple. Ordered a selling pack online and received it the following day. Dispatched it the same day in the prepaid special delivery envelope. On the next working day I received a phone call with the offer. The money was in my account within minutes. Well worth the effort to get some money back for a few bits of jewellery that would otherwise never see the light of day again.

So here is my awful experience with this company. I heard the adverts on the radio. Texted for the selling pack. Waited 2 weeks for it to arrive with a pre-filled form with the wrong mobile number on it. Popped a load of gold and silver into the bag. Had to pay extra for the postage because the bag sent only insured me for £750 and I knew what I was sending was worth more. Had to chase after a week of not hearing from them, although I knew they'd received it. Got cut off 3 times (deliberately) when calling to enquire why I hadn't heard from them. Persevered ringing constantly until I got a very nonchalant guy on the phone who said, "oh yeah I don't know why you've not heard from us". Your offer is £500. To which I replied "are you having a laugh?". There was a 9ct 22gram Victorian watch chain in the gold collection I knew was worth at least £700. So I told them to send it all back. Today I visited a jeweller I trust to check my belief and they confirmed it was worth £700 and bought it from me there and then. They said they'd heard horror stories about The Gold Company, claiming 18ct jewellery was 9ct, and that it weighed 10 grams less than it really did (probably assuming people don't weigh it before they send it). So, my advice would be to avoid this company like the plague.

I received my postage packet yesterday, and posted my jewelry and coins the same day. Today I received a call (postage was pre paid and next day delivery).
I got a very fair offer for my items which I accepted. Although hesitant about giving my bank details over the phone, I did so and the agreed sum was in my account within 35 minutes. A truly great service.

Great service. I took the chance and sent away a few rings and bracelets and the rewards were fantastic. I also sent away my partners gold and received a call to say they’d received the pack and made an offer. Within minutes after accepting, the money was in my account. What a nice gentleman he was.
