I had the opportunity to join a 3-week internship at The Grad Soc as a Business and Marketing intern. Although it was a very short learning journey, I was able to learn so many things about business and marketing. The team was very supportive throughout my internship and even after its end. They consistently provide me with constructive feedback and assisted me in developing my portfolio. It was such a great experience, and I hope to be able to join another similar opportunity.

I am based in the Philippines and consider myself incredibly fortunate to have my full-year UK internship (remote) through The Grad Soc. This experience, I not only gained invaluable industry experience but also benefitted greatly from The Grad Soc's career guidance and advice.

The whole team at the Grad Soc is so professional. Lauren was especially very helpful and understanding as a supervisor. I learnt a lot in these few weeks. Grad Soc Internships are highly recommended and the best part, they are remote!

I loved that each topic was delivered in bite sized videos, which made it easier to retain. I also loved the optional tasks that went hand-in-hand with each topic. Not to mention how helpful and sweet the team is!

During my internship, I was exposed to the basic concepts of marketing through recording sessions, articles/websites, and extra support from Shona and George, who have helped me to gain insights into Marketing. There were opportunities for me to practice the knowledge such as making an Instagram post, which was absolutely a great memory of my internship. I and other interns also networked and helped each other, which was very valuable as I got to know more about their degrees.

I really recommend anyone who wants to try Marketing but is not sure where to gain the experience!

TheGradSoc internship was an great experience! Not only did I learn about key lessons on branding and social media marketing, but both Shona and George gave me crucial advice about curating a profile and posting on Linkedin.

I did the 2 Week Business and Marketing Internship and the 8 Week Full Stack Data Analytics Software Development Internship at The Grad Soc. I've gained valuable work experiences through technical development in a hands-on software developer project for the Analytics Internship and creating marketing campaigns to get students hired for the Business and Marketing Internship. George and Shona are very collaborative, proactive, and highly motivated individuals who know how to guide their students when they need it. These internships alongside the job hunting expertise/guidance from George and Shona are what make this whole experience unique. The Grad Soc experience is a must for any student who is looking to get their first job or a foot in the door into their relevant industry. Even if you're not here for the internship, they can provide professional guidance to your ideal career. I did a remote 6-week marketing internship with the GradSoc. It was a useful thing to do to bridge the time after my uni lectures had concluded and before I started writing my dissertation. I managed to deepen my marketing knowledge and gain relevant experience which facilitated getting my current job after graduating. Working with the GradSoc team was very enjoyable and an internship there can constitute a valuable tweak to every graduate's CV. I can recommend it!

Last year I completed a 6-week internship with The Grad Soc. It was the best opportunity after I graduated from university, since I felt like I was lacking motivation and inspiration to work on projects and also get started on my career journey. The Grad Soc's internship was such an eye-opener for me. I have learned a lot of things about social media, marketing and design through creating posts for social media, designing and writing content, and developing a marketing campaign within a team. I was guided with a lot of care by my mentors, Shona and George, two amazing and ispiring people, really easy to communicate with, and straight-forward when it came to really give me feedback for my work. I was really grateful for the last part, since I feel like I can't improve that well if my mentors/employers sugarcoat the feedback. In this internship I realised that there is so much room for improvement, and I am excited that I have a lot of space to grow.
