The Green Cat Driving School Reviews 

I was having driving lessons from just after turning 17 on September 12th until I passed my practical exam on January 26th. From my very first lesson, starting with little to no knowledge on driving, Alex was perfect in helping me learn and advancing my driving while always making me feel comfortable and in control. They were always very friendly and eager for me to get better lesson by lesson. Booking lessons was also very simple as we would go through all the available time slots and choose which ones would suit me best. They also gave me access to an app called Theory Test Pro which really helped me revise for my theory and pass it first time. After all my practice and my instructor helping with any questions or queries I had about my practical exam, I was able to pass it first time.
Overall it was a very great experience and I couldn’t have asked for any better. 👍

Gréât communication from start to finish. Alex was perfect for my son who made really quick progress and knew exactly what he needed to practice to improve. Would 100% recommend

Dave was calm,collected and full of amazing advice, hints and tips to help me pass my test first time with only 1 minor fault.

My driving instructor, Dave, explained how to do each manoeuvre very well and helped to build my confidence driving on busy roads at busier times . Lessons where great and lessons before the driving test included mock tests which allowed to me work on my weaknesses before the actual test and ensured I got few driving faults .

couldn't rate Alex at green cat D.S more highly. Alex was able to support me to achieve a first time pass in a short time and made me feel comfortable and well supported and ensured I was ready for my test. Alex and the team are a solid 10/10 for me and I can't thank him and the team enough for my journey with them.

I would highly recommend the Green Cat Driving School. I have had lessons with Alex, and more recently with Dave after coming back from University. They are both incredibly supportive and patient instructors. I really cannot fault the Green Cat Driving school in any way. Both instructors were always on time for lessons, had a great understanding of the roads, and were just great people to chat with whilst driving! I'd like to say a big thanks to Dave for giving me real confidence in my driving ability, and it was a real pleasure to meet you. Thanks to Dave, I was able to pass my driving test the first time! My experience with the greencat driving school was one to remember from the very being I felt welcome by my driving instructor Dave who helped me gain the skills I would need in order to be a successful driver. Dave is a wonderful driving instructor to have because he was friendly, funny and kind and he made me feel at ease from the get go which allowed me and Dave to have a great laugh in our lessons and build a fab bond with one another which would make it easier to improve in my early months of learning to drive.

Thank you so much to Dave at The Green Cat for teaching my son to drive, guiding him through his theory and practical test. Not only have you taught him to drive, you have been a role model to him. Well worth the money, thank you 😊

Straight to the point instructions on how to improve each aspect of driving. Up to date with new techniques for manouvers etc. Gives confidence with praise and is honest on which areas to improve. Would recommend!

Dave helped me with two mock tests on very short notice. He was very helpful and gave me an audio review of the mock test which I used as a reminder on my test date. He also sent me other useful information. Passed on the first try

I completed 32 hours of driving lessons with David Jonker before passing first time. From the get-go, the experience contained fast paced learning at my highest comfortability. David always ensured that not only could I complete the manoeuvres and the rules of the road well, but also that I understood them. When I struggled to understand a few things, David would try several different ways of teaching which included speaking about it, using toy cars as a diagram and occasionally showing me. Moreover, this driving school is technologically advanced using google files to facilitate several videos going through the controls of the car, test routes, explaining roundabouts as well as documents which are user friendly with diagrams containing the most imperative information for tests. This is perfect for those who want to advance quickly and complete some extra homework. David has always been extremely patient and kind in his guiding - giving constructive criticism when needed. I cannot recommend this driving school enough, and David specifically. I will definitely miss our lessons together and the conversations we had however I am so happy to be on the roads myself and feeling safe to do so!

Driving automatic with Green Cat Driving School has been amazing! I passed my driving test first time with only two minors. My driving instructor Alex was a star, he was very positive and made me feel comfortable during our lessons. I gained confidence again in my driving and throughout the past months, I have felt supported and learnt a lot. Thanks Green Cat!

I highly recommend David, he is an amazing instructor. I immediately felt relaxed during lessons with David as he is kind, patient and explains everything extremely well. He provides videos that are great for revision when you’re coming up to test and always has time for his students such as extra lessons before test. I struggled with confidence when driving and David picked this up and helped me build up my confidence. Thank you for being so patient with me, I never thought I’d pass especially first time! Wouldn’t have been possible without such a great instructor :)

Dave made me feel really relaxed while I was driving and explained everything really well, if I did something wrong he stayed calm and just explained what I had done and how to fix it for next time.

Honestly, Dave was the best driving instructor possible; he was great at teaching me how to drive and I immediately felt comfortable learning from him and he was always able to give me handy tips to help me become the driver I am. I would recommend him for anyone who is looking to get learning!!
