Avoid this like the plague

I can see exactly why this profile is unclaimed looking at the two reviews here, because I had the same experience. I only wish I had seen these reviews before I placed an order for a TEAC W-865R double cassette deck with remote and user manual. Despite claims the unit was serviced and in full working order, when I set it up, there was a hum on Tape 1 and Tape 2 had no sound whatsoever. I asked on the website for a refund and got nothing but an automatic response. I sent an email reminder 4 days later and then a threat to escalate the dispute whereupon I got a reply that he was on holiday for the bank holiday week as per "the banner" on the website. Banner? It must have been so well camouflaged that it escaped my eagle eye. Anyway, he sent me a paid return address label and I returned it with photographs of every angle of the unit to prove it was in the same condition as received, and repeated my threat to escalate if I didn't get a full refund within 48 hours. I duly received the refund.
After I returned it, I discovered to my shock, he had the brass neck to put the same unit back on sale on his website with the same description "fully tested and working, ready for its new owner". Personally, I don't believe a word of it but you have been warned by the 3 reviews here: you pays your money and you takes your choice.

Bought Sony Cassette deck 4 months ago and it hasn't arrived

Online I bought a SONY TC-WE475 Twin Cassette Tape Deck. That was September 2022. Nothing arrived and its now January 2023. I have tried to get in contact multiple times via email, which appears to be the only option, without any response. I don't mind if there is a good reason for delay but I need to be made aware of it, unfortunately, there has been no response to my communications.

Just avoid, no communication and very slow shipping

I ordered a "serviced and working" tape deck from his website, thinking this seller has loads of positive eBay feedback, what could go wrong?

So I then waited three weeks for the seller to ship the item to me, after numerous emails to all the email addresses I could find I got one reply saying he was delayed due to ill health and it would be with me within 2 days. 5 days later the deck arrived and I got it set up, where it proceeded to destroy every tape I put into the deck and was completely unusable.

At this point I emailed the seller again to say it didn't work and I would like to return the item, no answer. After a week I raised a PayPal claim and just returned the deck with a letter enclosed explaining the situation to the return address listed on the website. Then the seller had no communication on PayPal until the claim was escalated and only on the last they they could before PayPal would auto close the case. I finally got my refund 2 months after the purchase date and never received my return shipping cost that the seller claims will be covered in their terms and conditions for faulty items within 30 days.

TL;DR - Slow shipping, broken item, impossible to contact
