This was my go to protein powder I ended up purchasing on Amazon but the stock gradually ran out. No idea what’s happened to the business I’ve not had the same results with any other brand. I’m gutted this product is no longer on the market but also with no explanation as to why or what has happened. I don’t believe it was originally a scam but find it bizarre that there’s nothing to explain what’s happened please bring it back!

Dishonest Earth

Dishonest Earth! Placed an order and the order never came despite multiple follow ups! Avoid at all costs. Tried writing a comment on Instagram and only had it deleted and my account was blocked by Aaron of Honest Earth! Scammer!

Have not received my order. No reply to emails

I placed an order with them twice. The first time, I received the product after almost two months. At least, at that time they replied to my email and said that it was due to COVID. I decided to give them another chance. I placed another order mid August and I have not received anything yet. I have sent three emails and I got no response. I also noticed over the last few weeks that after many negative comments on their social media, they have been gradually disappearing. Currently there are no Facebook, Instagram pages which used to exist before. It's unlikely I'm going to see my money. Avoid at all costs!

The Dishonest Earth

The Dishonest Earth.

My first order with them went really well, saw the Ad on IG and it arrived and I liked the product. (This is the only reason the review isn't 1 star.) They emailed me a few times asking for a review which I left and it was 5*.

My second order went poorly, delivery was late and they signed me up to recurring monthly charge which I didn't want. No info on the recurring payments, total payment or total order size. Completely misleading.

When I was billed a month later I queried it and they refused to refund me.
That was 5 weeks ago and I still don't have anything. No product. No refund.

I've written to them a few times and they've twice sent me the same generic email about delays due to COVID and 3 weeks ago just stopped replying.

I've reported them to my credit card company who thankfully have refunded me the money while they investigate.

Charged me extra, terrible product, abismal customer service

This company found me through a Facebook ad a little over a week ago. I'd never heard of them before but was interested in trying their vegan protein powder and ended up ordering 2 bags from their special offer.

But after placing (and paying for) my order, another bag was automatically added to my order (at a higher price point than the other two) and I was unable to remove it. Payment for that went through right away too without any possibility to check the cart, confirm the order etc.

I contacted support right away and Aaron - the owner - said that placed orders are final, he couldn't change anything but that I could send the extra bag back after I received it for a refund.

That would be reasonable enough if return shipping were free, but it's not. You have to pay for return shipping yourself. On top of that, they require you send back items with a tracking link (the most expensive shipping option) and you better get insurance too (because they don't refund if the item arrives damaged). They also deduct 10 pounds for "restocking costs" and their original shipping costs would be on me too (those are not refunded). In short, sending that extra bag back (from outside the UK for me) for a refund, would actually cost me even more money than not refunding it at all!

Within a week, the three bags arrived. Turns out, one of the bags was not sealed properly and there is protein powder that has leaked out all over the box (The shipping box was undamaged so this was on them, not on the postal service)

I tried a teaspoon of their product and even though it is advertised as causing no bloat (like many other protein powders do) that little sample made me bloat for hours (despite drinking lots of water) and gave me a bad headache too. It's one of the worst protein powders I've tried (and I've tried many, and also found some excellent ones, but this one ain't it!)

Now, buying their product, I took a risk and I was o.k. with that and the costs involved. Everyone is different and not every product works for everyone.

What I was not o.k with was the extra bag that got added. That was a 66% upsell that got added without my permission, and Aaron's "just send it back" is a b.s. solution.

Even sending the whole order back is not worth it financially.

I tried talking to them over chat/email to get all this truly resolved but they clearly don't care. My few brief interactions with Aaron have been me trying to explain the issue and him mostly ignoring my messages except to state their terms.

So I have given up and am writing this review instead especially since I saw another commenter here had the same experience.

I also commented on their FB ad about the funnel upsell issue (to warn others), and my comment was removed within 24 hours without a response. No surprise there.

There would have been so many ways for them to resolve this correctly but instead they give "honest" a bad name.

I reacted to a well placed ad on social media. I was exactly in the market for some new vegan protein powder.
The sales funnel then tried to upsell me on buying more, more, more, which I declined.
About 10 minutes after the purchase was finalised, I got hit with an extra 66% of what I had paid, for 50% more product - that I didn't order.
I immediately emailed the support team to tell them not to send it and refund me.
They ignored my email. I then got into an email "battle" with the owner Aaron, who def doesn't work at Amazon or Zappos, as he refused to help fix his problem, continously telling me it was my fault for accepting the delivery - 3 weeks later btw.
I had to email to ask where my order was 12 days after ordering, no update.
Overall a bad experience, which is sad, as the ethos of vegan, healthy etc is nice.
