I’ve learned a lot from this course so far, and I’m excited to keep moving forward. The forums have each helped me understand different aspects of design, which has been really valuable. I’ve also gained experience in creating presentations and developing floor plans—things I hadn’t really done before. I’m grateful to be part of this course and look forward to continuing the journey. Thank you.

I love that I am able to work at my pace. With work it's always a challenge to find time to work on my assignment, so I appreciate the time that is given without the fear of failing for not submitting an assignment on time.

I've really enjoyed the course so far. The modules are been relevant to what I expected I would need to have learnt, and have been really challenging! The additional support via online webinars and tutorials have been invaluable to the course so far.

The learnings are immediately transferable and applicable in real life. There isn’t much fluff and this has been helpful to hone in and elaborate on some of my previous design knowledge. I wouldn’t say it’s as in depth as I had hoped, but for as much information as you do get from this short course, I’m impressed. My tutor is also very thorough and offers insight on every assignment. I love the application and how I can truly learn and do this course anywhere (even while traveling).

I have loved every bit of the assignments and studying! It has been brilliant for me to study at my own pace as I am still working full time as a teacher. The content is fabulous and the expectations are high, which is great.
If there were anything I’d like to see more of, it is maybe a register of people willing to teach or demonstrate Sketch Up and Layout in person in your local area, or even like a virtual meeting. As the only challenge I have found is trying to navigate learning these programs with written information - I think I would understand and learn more if I could see someone demonstrating and showing me.
Overall, I am so excited about this Diploma course and I am so pleased with the confidence it has given me.

What an incredible course offered by IDI. The course material is thorough, easily set out for clear understanding and so much interesting content. The additional masterclass videos which i paid for were so informative and added enormous context to assignments, making each one exciting to start and complete. The tutor support is awesome, only a mail away and feedback given is so insightful and genuine to help you grow your understanding and skill. I would recomend this course to anyone interested in starting out in the Interior design industry or just adding another skill to their toolbox.

I’m currently about halfway through the IDI course, and so far I’m really enjoying it. The website is very organized, which makes studying much easier.
The PDFs in each module are quite long, but they really cover everything, so it makes sense why they’re structured that way. They also provide a lot of resources to help you in each module.
My tutor Meghan Yang has also been great, responsive, and very helpful throughout the process. Overall, it’s been a really good experience so far :).

It's a really good course, concise and informative with fun assignments. The only draw back is accessibility to tutors, and I would prefer to fix errors in assignments before getting a pass to make sure I've done things correctly.

I couldn’t be happier with my decision to study Interior Design! I’m honestly so excited and completely over the moon about this journey ahead of me. From the moment I started, I felt inspired and motivated to explore my creativity in a whole new way.
Interior Design has already opened my eyes to how spaces can truly impact how people feel and live, and I love learning how to bring beauty and functionality together. Every step feels like I’m getting closer to something I’m really passionate about.
I’m so grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to see where this adventure takes me. It truly feels like the beginning of something amazing!

I really like how well-structured the modules are in this interior design course. The learning path is clear and easy to follow, which helps me stay engaged.
The SketchUp lessons are especially helpful. They are explained in a simple way, so even someone with little computer experience can understand and use the tools with confidence. This has really helped me learn faster than I expected.
One downside is that the Facebook chat groups are no longer available. They were a great way to connect with other students, see their progress, and share tips and experiences. It was also very motivating to see how others were doing, especially when I felt stuck.
Overall, I think the course is well designed and supportive, and it is helping me build confidence and practical interior design skills.

I’ve had a really positive experience with this interior design program so far. The modules are thorough and cover everything you actually need to know without feeling overwhelming or filled with unnecessary information. The content is easy to follow, and I especially appreciate the number of photos, examples, and additional resources provided throughout the portal, they make it much easier to understand concepts and apply them to assignments.
One of the biggest highlights for me is how the assignments are structured. They are mostly renovation and project-based, which means you’re not just learning theory, you’re actively building a portfolio as you go. That’s been incredibly valuable and makes the work feel purposeful and aligned with real-world design.
I also really enjoy the flexibility of the program. Being able to work at my own pace has allowed me to feel more relaxed and confident in my learning process, rather than rushed. My tutor has also been amazing! Her feedback is detailed, thoughtful, and encouraging, which has given me a lot of confidence that I’m on the right path with this career.
Another huge plus is the price. The value you get from this course is honestly amazing for what you pay. It feels completely worth it, even if your goal is simply to learn how to design and work on your own home.
If I had to mention a downside, it would be that, like most online programs, you don’t get the same level of in-person interaction or hands-on experience. There’s also less opportunity for spontaneous collaboration with peers. That said, the structure of the program and the support provided still make it a really strong learning experience overall.
I would definitely recommend this program to anyone looking to get into interior design in a flexible, practical, and well-supported way.
