Advanced modules are great
I have taken advantage of completing some advanced modules as part of my study and will continue to add more. It is great to have access to these courses within the Institute so additional enrolments are not required- particularly if you want to specialise in certain areas of design. It offers a layer of confidence once you graduate.

Interesting, flexible, practical and enjoyable!
This course is very thorough, the modules are easy to read, not too heavy, and written in a way that keeps you interested as it builds through the different modules. The assignments are explained well, often with examples so you know which way to head. I started this a long time ago, but have had periods of time when life and family and other work have just got too hectic and I didnt have the headspace. Being able to extend the course has been fantastic, and Im now almost finished. Its going to feel great to get there and I have learnt so much. The last few modules really get you thinking about how you are going to set up your business and I have found them very practical, with lots of notes to print out and keep to refer back to when I am in business.

Diploma course review
I've really enjoyed the course so far. The modules are been relevant to what I expected I would need to have learnt, and have been really challenging! The additional support via online webinars and tutorials have been invaluable to the course so far.

I have loved every bit of the assignments and studying! It has been brilliant for me to study at my own pace as I am still working full time as a teacher. The content is fabulous and the expectations are high, which is great.
If there were anything I’d like to see more of, it is maybe a register of people willing to teach or demonstrate Sketch Up and Layout in person in your local area, or even like a virtual meeting. As the only challenge I have found is trying to navigate learning these programs with written information - I think I would understand and learn more if I could see someone demonstrating and showing me.
Overall, I am so excited about this Diploma course and I am so pleased with the confidence it has given me.

A Well-Structured Interior Design Course
I really like how well-structured the modules are in this interior design course. The learning path is clear and easy to follow, which helps me stay engaged.
The SketchUp lessons are especially helpful. They are explained in a simple way, so even someone with little computer experience can understand and use the tools with confidence. This has really helped me learn faster than I expected.
One downside is that the Facebook chat groups are no longer available. They were a great way to connect with other students, see their progress, and share tips and experiences. It was also very motivating to see how others were doing, especially when I felt stuck.
Overall, I think the course is well designed and supportive, and it is helping me build confidence and practical interior design skills.

I would highly recommend this course as it is extremely informative and really provides great detail into the interior design world. Each module provides illuminating details addressing each subject in depth. I find the material to be at a level suitable for a novice while still providing educational concepts to broaden ones ambitions in the design space.

Comprehensive course with great support
The Diploma of Interior Design provided by IDI is a great course! It is very comprehensive and well laid out and as a result gradually builds your skills and confidence in the interior design industry. My tutor, Linda, is fabulous, she is always on hand if I have questions, as are the administration staff who support the course. If you are looking for a well run online design course that covers all the industry requirements, for a fraction of the price as elsewhere then look no further; I highly recommend IDI's Diploma of Interior Design!
