I wouldn't have even given it 1 star. I ordered the Ethiopian Bible they sell for $49.95 claim with free highlighters few other items, on April 6, 2026. Emailed them 13 times because I hadn't gotten my order. They responded every time it was on it's way. Sorry for the delay and my understanding. They claim 3-5 business days for shipping? I still have not received it. Asked for a refund the last 3 emails, after months of not receiving my order. I will be contacting the BBB to report them.

They don't deserve one star. This is a scam. They take your money but don't deliver anything but excuses. I've waiting nearly 5 months for delivery and gotten nothing. Avoid completely!

I am writing an additional review on this company. I could not find how to update my initial review. I just had a debit amount show up on my account for $39.99. I've tried calling them and received the above average volume please wait and have sent them an email. I never received my free gifts so I've given up on that; however, this additional charge ?? they appear to be doing business under the guise of Christianity.

I placed an order on April 4 2026 with this co. For the Ethiopian Bible. Tracking number received April 6th. After numerous emails since and reasons they cant refund due to my order still being in system and supplier issues, it is clear as of today June 30 2026 There is no intention of my order being fulfilled. I will say they did respond within a few days to each email. But with each one it was a different reason for non fulfillment.

This company gladly takes your money but months afterwards still no delivery. Requested a full refund and nothing but empty promises. No book no refund! Save yourself trouble don’t order from them

Run away... It's been 3 months and I haven't received the Bible I ordered... How this company is still able to solicit new orders with all the complaints I have read is mind boggling.

They initially shipped to the wrong address.Then they say they're having supply issues.Its been months and now they refuse to give me a refund.

I've been waiting 3 months for book. I requested refund after 2 months, no answer.

On March 20th I ordered the Ethiopian Bible from them, still has not been received and they refused to refund me when I contacted them stating it hasn't been received and I no longer want it. They keep claiming that the order is in process and can't be refunded. Would NOT recommend them to anyone. I want my money refunded but Shop won't help and tells me to deal directly with TheLivingWord who won't help.

I ordered 2 Ethiopian Bibles on March 31, 2026. They have still not arrived and the company can not say where they are or when they will arrive. In my opinion this is a scam. Do not purchase from them.

I ordered in April. I have emailed the company many times. All they tell me is that they will not issue a refund, because they have already sent my order, but there are no shipping updates. Until something changes, I am convinced that this company is a scam in every sense of the word. Do not order from this company.

Recieved Bible unlike other reviewers. No large print, print is very small, hard to read. No E-Book, audio book or digital files as advertised. Customer service keeps sending same stock email "Please be assured that we are currently looking into this matter with our digital fulfillment team to verify the exact status of the access link. Rest assured that we will provide you with a valid update as soon as more detailed information becomes available." No 90 day refund, must send it back within 30 days, unopened in original packaging, you pay shipping and a 27% restocking fee.

Ordered March 27, 2026, sent periodic emails querying all they tell you it's coming, today is June 5, 2026, still no bible. This is a scam don't deal with this company!!!!! Filed complaint with BBB, and the attorney general of the state of RI and my credit card company.

Been 2 months since ordered and nothing, stopped answering email to support and blocked my emails. Filed fraud complaint with credit card and got email asking me to close complaint when I got my order, still waiting expecting nothing but at least I may get my money back. Lesson learned

Appears to be a scam, as I ordered 2 bibles several months ago and never received anything. I email them several times and get excuses and a tracking number, but the "shipment" never leaves China. Had to file a chargeback with my CC company. To any of you with similar experience, I recommend doing the same

I, too, placed an order over 3 months ago.
I’ve sent numerous emails and gotten numerous excuses and fake tracking numbers. Still haven’t received my order or a refund.

if i could give no stars, I would. Ordered on 4/4/26 and it is 6/3. Emailed multiple times and asked for a refund already, but they responded saying they were investigating the shipment. I asked for a refund again, today. This is a scam. Facebook allowing these crooks to run rampant. Don't order from these thieves.

These folks should be sued!!!!! I placed an order almost 3 months ago and still nothing and now their fake customer service doesn't even respond to my emails

I am so disappointed in The Living Word. I ordered the Bible in March 2026, I have inquired several times. Received response, but no merchandise and now it is June. After reading feedback from others, it is hard for me to accept such a scam I got caught in same as others. Thank you Trust pilot. Brenda Jenkins
