About The Locket Tree
Written by the company
Established in 2013, The Locket Tree is the UK's leading locket online retailer.
Based in London, we stock exclusively solid 925 sterling silver, gold and platinum lockets (we do not stock any plated or vermeil jewellery). Our wide range includes diamond and gem-set lockets, in styles ranging from classic and contemporary to vintage and nostalgic.
We are proud to be members of The National Association of Jewellers and the Gem-A, and have an in-house gemologist. We are authorised stockists of prestigious fine brands Charles Green and Victor Mayer.
Lockets can be fully skilfully customised by our in-house team with photographs and engraving messages. We also offer more specialist bespoke services including: handwriting, bespoke hair insertions, family crests, monograms, drawings and custom hand-engravings, to create stunning personalised gifts that can be passed down through the generations.
In our photographic studio, our team works in Photoshop to optimise your photos to get the best possible results, hand-cutting and carefully placing your photos in the locket. Our photos are printed on age resistant high-graded printing paper, to which a coat of varnish is added. Almost all lockets have an added layer of protection with a perspex overlay.
Our engraving team use a precision diamond engraver machine to engrave your messages. The team are experts at centrally placing your message on your locket and ensuring it is clear and long-lasting and will get you the best possible result.Orders customised with 2 business days.

Just Perfect!
I had chosen a locket as a present for my wife's 'special' birthday. It was actually a present from our dog, and I wanted it engraved accordingly with two particular images inside. When I ordered it I made one or two specific additional requests. I was amazed when it arrived just a couple of days later with everything executed to perfection. My wife was overjoyed with the gift. I really am impressed with The Locket Tree! Thank you!

Perfect for my memory of my Nan
The site shows the sizes of the chain so you can have the ease of ordering.
The item ordered, which was the flower filigree, was delivered within the expected delivery period specified.
The item was well packaged, it comes in its own box.
The item & the quality itself is beautiful, I paid for a photo to be inserted and it's perfect for me to remember my Nan.
The overall cost Includes the chain, my chosen photo and the engraving, I love it.
The only suggestion I can make is for the inclusion of a chain that can alter in hanging length, as I am one of those people who likes to wear different chain lengths influenced with what I am wearing without the huge cost implications?

Locket with picture
Locket with picture, hair insertion and engraving less than 2 years old with the engraving faded to unreadable, one of two pictures and hair degrading. Customer service sre denying all blame intimating for example the engraving will fade if I wear the locket and it rubs against clotjimg!! Have made a complaint to both Trading Standards and The National Association of Jewellers.. dont leave a review until your locket is nearly two years old!

This is to confirm that our lockets are engraved in accordance with the instructions provided by the engraving manufacturer. Engraving will fade with time if it rubs against a surface such as clothing.
Our photos are printed on museum-quality art paper and are also sprayed with a protective spray. In addition, the perspex cover and the locket itself provide protection. If damp or mould spots appear, this will be caused by the surrounding environment.
