Disappointing experience after a promising start.
The initial phase of the move was handled well — Barry was helpful, the quote was clear, and the moving team on the day were excellent. However, everything fell apart afterwards.
During the move, one item was damaged (reported proactively by one of the removal team), and another item never arrived. I was assured these issues would be covered by insurance, but despite repeated calls and emails, no one ever followed up. My enquiries and requests for replacements were simply ignored.
It’s a real shame, because the service began well, but the lack of communication and accountability afterwards means I couldn’t recommend them. If nothing gets lost or damaged, you’ll probably be fine — but if something does go wrong, based on my experience, you may struggle to get any resolution.

Great experience all round. The quote was very competitive, the workers were friendly, worked quickly and handled everything with care.

I had a great experience with the London Removal Company. From the get go Barry & team were super responsive and friendly. I hired them for removal of my boxes, storage and drop off at my new flat and they were always on time, efficient and careful with my belongings. I’d 100% recommend.

Booked them on short notice. Very friendly and approachable on the phone. On the day, the guys showed up perfectly on time. They were efficient and jolly. Secured some loose parts with tape. Protected mattresses with plastic that they brought so that everything stayed nice and clean. Great experience overall.

Just really easy to deal with. I think their volume estimate was a bit off, but that may also have been partly our fault in terms of how detailed the information was we initially provided.

I needed to move 44 years of belongings from a large London house to a much smaller Kent cottage, to 2 other Kent addresses and to storage. This marathon move required six vans and six trips on six different dates. Being widowed, I was daunted by the logistics of this move but the LRC made everything easy. I cannot fault them. The quotations were reasonable and the personnel of the LRC were helpful beyond belief, kind and obliging. They did all the packing at lightning speed. I cannot recommend them enough. If I could, I would give them 10 stars.

So grateful for the London removal services once again. From start to finish they were helpful and reassuring, knowing from past moves with them I left myself in their hands with confidence, easing my own anxieties and stresses. From first contact with Karen to the removal team and Barry the whole service was totally professional, with helpful advice and easy communication which kept everyone updated and working from the same page. The team on the day were amazing I can’t fault them. Their consideration, professionalism and friendly face to face contact made my removal day so much easier. Omg, I cannot recommend this company enough. They are so good. To have a company who always reply to emails (the super efficient Karen), usually the same day, and to be so efficient, it’s just so refreshing. The movers turned up on time, communication was great, and they were so helpful. Good pricing too. Would definitely use them again.

We have used the company twice and both times they were really helpful and efficient.

The Team from the London Removal Company made our move super smooth. We could not have done it without them. As we only had one week between exchange and completion it helped a lot that we went for the full packing process. Everyone was friendly, super efficient and thoughtful. From Barry coming to survey to quote, Karen who coordinated the whole process from the office and Pablo and his packing team. All amazing! Personal items were handled very carefully so that we did not have to worry. A big thank you to everyone!

Karen and Barry were great to deal with and sorted my move with no problems at all. Martin and Alex who did the hard work arrived on time and transported everything across country in one piece while Karen helped with all the questions and concerns I had for my first major move. The team made the whole process go very smoothly indeed!

From start to finish my experience of using the London Removal Company was nothing short of outstanding!

I initially reached out to them via their website. Within an hour I was contacted by the fantastic Karen who could not have done more. We had a really quick turnaround due to the slightly early arrival of our son. I didn’t know exactly how much stuff we had in terms of how many boxes etc. None of my uselessness was a problem for Karen who provided great advice and organised the removal every step of the way.

The two removal guys, Martin and Alex, were also brilliant. They turned up on time, were very polite, worked extremely efficiently and very carefully to pack us up and the put everything inside the house as directed at the other end. We had several “breakable items” in the stuff that was being moved, not a single item damaged in the move which involved carting stuff down 6 flights of stairs and a 90 minute drive.

Their pricing was extremely competitive but above that, the service was fantastic value for money.

We would not hesitate to use them again and will be recommending the company to all of our friends and contacts.

If I could have given more stars I would have.
