Almost exactly one month ago, I decided to invest in the Modern SDR with the intention of creating a new reality for myself. I dedicated myself wholeheartedly to the program while continuing to work my 32hr/week job on the side. I trained on my days off within the community, attended coaching calls whenever I could, and went through the lessons repeatedly to maximize my potential.

Today, I’m thrilled to share that I have just landed my first job as a Modern SDR, thanks to the unwavering support of Kekoa, María Clara, and the entire team at the Modern SDR! I am incredibly grateful and excited to embark on this new path, and I can’t wait to see the fruits of my labor! 🙏🏼🌟

Whether it’s practicing role plays, offering feedback, or sharing job leads, there’s a real sense of camaraderie and mutual upliftment that makes the journey feel less lonely and so much more empowering.

The care doesn’t stop once the training ends. You’re not invited to a graduation call until the team genuinely feels you’re ready for the next stage. And once you do graduate, there’s incredible support for building and refining your resume, plus active help in finding a role—which is exactly what led me here in the first place. Thanks to Kekoa’s help, I landed a job within days in the high-ticket sales space!

What stood out most, though, is the personal touch. Kekoa checked in with me regularly, even early on, just to make sure I was doing okay. That kind of heart and dedication is rare.

I’m sincerely grateful for everything this program and team have done for me. I would wholeheartedly recommend The Modern SDR—and anything Kekoa offers—to anyone serious about levelling up in sales and beyond.

Y’all. I purposely waited to go through the entire process of this program to give yall a solid review & let me tell you… it’s legit 💯 especially if you’re someone looking to get into the high ticket sales industry with no prior experience (Me). The coaches give you the best information and put you in the correct mindset to be successful in this industry. Once graduated Kekoa & his team not only give you high value offers to seek but the guidance needed to find your own. Obviously it’s dependent on the individual to how quickly you pick up on this skill but if you keep at it you’ll inevitably see some success. On top of that once you are in a role you still have access to coaching calls & the community of people to ask specific questions on objections you’re encountering.

I know it can be scary taking the leap but if this is something you’ve been thinking about I suggest messing around and finding out what’s on the other side of risk, you won’t regret it ✨

So far I have been greeted with a lot of support and motivation from the program!

This is all you need. I started a year ago and everything in the program will help you get many opportunities and hone your skills! The entire team is amazing in giving support and feedback. Kekoa is very hands-on in being involved and making sure he shares all his knowledge and skills.

On top of that, I've met amazing people from the community who are hungry to be successful on this. I got opportunities because I applied the action steps the program shared even without getting into the job pipeline yet. So, all the golden nuggets will make sure to get you opportunities and help you succeed!

I would say the course is definitely beneficial, especially to people who have Had no prior Sales experience. The coaches are very useful and answer every question you need. The students are also available at different times. Whenever you need to ask a question and in my opinion, they’ve been very helpful, definitely a good investment.

Honestly, the modern SDR program is excellent. I joined a year ago and can’t say anything bad about it. Kekoa and his team genuinely want you to succeed.

The Real Deal! I'm 39 and I have a Bachelors in Aeronautical Science, a Comp Sci degree, and I've spent around $20k in online courses. The Modern SDR is a real school and one of the best programs to date. Kekoa works extremely hard to make sure his school runs well by having some of the best coaches, a simple but thorough course structure, and a nurturing and supportive community. Every single coach he employs cares deeply about the success of their students. The whole program from start to finish was excellent.

Where most schools fall short, Kekoa excels.
His graduation pipeline and job placement afterward graduation is top notch. Kekoa works very hard to build relationships with companies and influencers so that he can place his graduating students in roles as soon as possible. His work here is top tier. Never have I received such support post grad finding a job in any of my previous education.

The Modern SDR is a school that solves most if not all of the problems associated with our failing education system in the United States. It is not prohibitively expensive, it takes a couple months, not 4 years, you get job placement as quickly as possible, the community is outstanding, there are no hoops to jump through, and unlike many online courses where the owner is no where to be found and you can't contact them even if you tried, Kekoa works very hard to give you maximum value.

One important note: You have to put in the work and you have to be self motivated through out the course. The coaches are there to help whenever you need it, and the community is there for all the mock calls and practice sessions, but you have to go through the modules and learn the material through your own discipline. This may be a difficult challenge for many who have not had to do that before.

Nothing is perfect out there, but the Modern SDR is pretty damn close!

Before I jumped into this program I definitely did my research, I read the negative reviews on trust pilot, and saw that Kekoa answered them instead of just deleting like he could have. I really appreciated and respected his transparency with his critics, it was really refreshing. After sitting down and talking with Alex and Maria I just knew this program was different. Yes it's a sales training course, but it's not just your run of the mill 'car salesman' strategy, they genuinely want to help you find a role that makes you feel good. Let's face it we live in a consumer based world, and we all buy things to live, survive, and thrive, so why not learn the skills to sell ice to a Eskimo! We all know the ice caps are melting and they're going to need it.... All jokes aside, Kekoa is a great mentor, he answers when you DM him, the coaches are there to help guide you to achieve your goals, and the students within the community are there to train with you, as you all do it together!

I've already found a position using the techniques Kekoa has laid out for us!

So, I jumped into The ModernSDR about a month ago, and let me tell you, it’s been a wild ride. Countless drills, mock calls, and coaching sessions with Matt H., Patrick, Alex, and Ryan—seriously, these guys are like the Avengers of sales training. They gave me the confidence boost I didn’t even know I needed.

Keeping it real—there’s definitely an investment here. Not just in your wallet, but in your mindset too. You’ve gotta be ready to shift gears and ditch the excuses. If you’re scared of making mistakes, you’ll be stuck in neutral. But if you’re ready to put in the work and actually go for it, you’re gonna see some serious results.

If you’re on the fence, take that leap of faith! Trust me, changing your circumstances starts with one good decision, and joining The ModernSDR was exactly that for me.

Leaving my job as a forklift driver was one of the most daunting yet liberating decisons I've ever made...

For many Months, I felt trapped in a monotounous routine where my time and energy were dedicated soley to the job. Most days felt like a repeat of the last, moving pallets, loading trucks, and working long hours with little to show for it besides a paycheck. Despite having good relationships and meeting new friends which I am still forever grateful for, I knew I was destined for better. I was stuck in a cycle that left me unfulfilled, knowing that my potential was being wasted. The thought of spending years in the same role, weighed heavily on me. I knew something needed to change, but I wasn't sure where to start.

I want to make something evident for whoever is reading this.. when you find yourself knowing something needs to change, you will see that the universe can be very rewarding upon the actions you take.

One night mindlessly scrolling on Instagram is when I discovered The Modern SDR.
Skeptical, with a mindset that struggled to trust but desperate for change I explored this further and got on a zoom call with Coach Ryan.. With the support of Ryan, the analytical breakdown and the belief in myself, I decided to invest in the program.

This decision was not easy believe me! I lost friends and swallowed in tons of uncertainty from other peoples opinions. However I had two choices, go back to somewhere I knew I was not where I wanted to be, or take a leap. That leap proved to be life-altering.

The Modern SDR wasn't just learning about how to sell; it was about understanding people, truly understanding them. Through the guidance of exceptional Coaches like Kekoa, Ryan, Alex and Patrick, I began to grasp the importance of emotional and pyschological intelligence in sales. They taught me that helping people make new decisions in their lives isn't just about persuasion; it's about empathy, active listening, and offering genuine solutions if that ethically resonates with their needs.

The training was rigorous and required a level of discipline and commitment that I hadn't needed to tap into before. But nothing worth achieving comes easy, I was ready to put in the work. With the Coaches unwavering support and dedication, I developed not only the skills needed to excel in remote sales, but also the mindset required to thrive in this new career.

Kekoa, Ryan, Alex and Patrick were more than just instructors; they were mentors who led by example.
Their commitment to my success was evident in every practise session, every piece of feedback, and every word of encouragement. They pushed me to continously improve, step outside my comfort zone and to embrace the challenges as opportunities for growth!

As I progressed through the program (about 2 months inside) I passed my graduation call, then something amazing happened...

I was offered the privilege to work for the very company that had trained me!
Joining Kekoa's team was a dream come true, not just because it validated my hard work, but because it aligned with my new passion- helping others get on the same pathway to learning and earning, whilst gaining the remote freedom that I knew was right around the corner.

Working remotely gave me the flexibility I had longed for. I could finally see my grandparents, friends and family, whenever I wanted. The freedom to travel was something I had never imagined being possible while working at the warehouse.

In January 2024 myself and new faces I had met inside The Modern SDR decided we were going to Colombia.. safe to say I had a lot of people worried I would make it back in one piece haha. This is where I spent a Month meeting new people, embracing new cultures, and experiencing life in a way I never could have before. There's many stories, I'll save them for another day though lol.

Truly, a major factor that gets me out of bed in the morning is the desire to give others the same freedom I've found. I want to help people break free from the confines of traditional 9-5 jobs, just as I did. I want to show you that with the right skills, mindset and support, you can create a life where you control your time, be present for loved ones and explore the world if you wish to.

I also want to be clear, this journey wasn't easy. Achieving a great level of success requires discipline, commitment, and most importantly a big enough reason to alter your future. For me, the reason was my family, my desire for freedom, and my need to live a life that felt meaningful. If you're stuck in a job know that change is possible, but it will require you to step up, invest in yourself and be willing to put in the work.

The Modern SDR was my catalyst for change and now as part of the team I'm commited to helping others find their path to freedom, too.

I am forever grateful.

I started the Modern SDR program in April 2024 with the intention of starting a life changing journey. I'm older than most of the participants so I was cautiously optimistic about the program. However, I pushed forward with the wonderful coaching, curriculum, and support of the Modern SDR team. I would like to thank Kekoa, Alex, Ryan, and Patrick for their amazing instruction and encouragement. I would also like to thank Maria for her aid in on-boarding and providing direction for any needs that I had. All in all a very wonderful experience and looking forward to a rewarding career in online sales.

What made my great experience with the modern SDR so good was how understanding, helpful, and how the effective there courses are. They always check in on you to make sure that you’re doing well they don’t leave you hanging. Their courses are packed with knowledge and easy to understand. Lastly they are very understanding and helpful depending on someone’s financial situation and whether they can invest or not. Overall all these have made my experience with the modern Sdr great.

This course has detailed information to train an interested sales representative on how to succeed in sales. The program itself is quite informative and deep and the network of students is great! I was able to find a position through the course itself and students are taught how to find and pursue other offers on their own.
