One star lost for NOT making it easy to personalise cookie preferences when entering the web site.
(I like an accessible "reject all" switch.)

Great service, I had a problem with a Fjalraven jacket I bought nearly at the end of its warrenty. Broken zip. They were able to get it back to the manufacturer and repaired good as new. Great service no fuss.

I bought a tshirt just after 4pm yesterday and it arrived at 10am this morning. How did you even manage that? did you personally deliver it? Great Service.

Fake Fjallraven Kanken laptop bag! Not impressed.

I have bought a few items online from The Mountain Factor over the years and I have visited their excellent store in Ambleside a couple of times.
Their product range, technical knowledge and customer service is outstanding and items ordered online are usually despatched unbelievably fast.
Prices are very fair and they often have a great selection of sale items.

Really speedy delivery, UK seller and genuine Kanken bag.
As Fjallraven are not shipping to UK at the moment as it can't get through the border I took my chances with this company. Their shop in Ambleside is joined to an fjallraven shop too.
Will definately shop here next time. Thank you

Ordered Kanken backpack from another company and it turned out to be a scam [waaaa] but The Mountain Factor had exactly what Grandchild wanted and at a great reduced price. The helpful staff at Mountain Factor have restored my faith in human nature. When I emailed them they re assured me about their delivery - which was super speedy and no problems .. Thank you so much- delivered in time and present recovered from jaws of disaster

I purchased the Fjallraven Nuuk Parka - I'd wanted it for a while then saw it at The Mountain Factor £100 cheaper than usual in their sale. They kept me informed by email, which I always appreciate, and it arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Very (warm and) happy with whole experience.

I was impressed with the prompt service. I ordered at 11.20am on a Friday, and had the package in my hands less than 24hrs later.

I ordered some high quality SmartWool socks that were on sale and significantly cheaper than any other competing online shop. Order was processed and dispatched quickly, and as I said, arrived the following morning despite only paying for the standard delivery. (Although to be fair at that point they are at the whim of Royal Mail to get this part of the delivery right.)

I'm not a massive consumer of outdoor gear, but I'd definitely check this site out again should I ever need some outdoor clothing.

I wish they'd use cardboard/paper packaging rather than the plastic wrapper though.

I haven’t used The Mountain Factor before and was a bit hesitant.
As the Icebreaker hoody was £48 cheaper then anywhere else I took the plunge placing the order and also they are based in the UK.
Fortunately I am very happy with my purchase as it arrived super quick and exactly as described.
There were no tracking details but that’s fine it arrived perfectly and I would definitely order again from them.

Order processed and delivered without problem and in good time. Good communication on the status of the order.

Fjallraven Kaipak. Good price. Poor customer service if there's something wrong. There are other suppliers out there.

Purchased a pair of Fjallraven shorts. They were delivered very quickly but were unfortunately too large. By then, smaller sizes were out of stock. Communication with the company was excellent and I was refunded within an hour of them receiving the returned shorts. Thanks very much.
