Really happy with the product and customer service.
Ordered a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses for my boyfriend’s birthday. Still hadn’t had my Royal Mail confirmation after 5/6 days of purchase due to sunglasses being out of stock. Rang up and spoke to a gentleman who was extremely helpful and got some different sunglasses out the next day which were just as nice and very similar to my initial order. They post them out the next day and arrived on time as promised the day after.

Having been on a subscription plan from a well known opticians for several years the price has just kept creeping up so I decided to call it a day & cancel.Did alot research online to see where I was going to purchase from.The optical store popped up & the prices seemed very good.I did read trustpilot reviews & had no hesitation placing an order.I took the chance & purchased 3 months supply.Ordered Sunday,despatched Monday & arrived today Tuesday. Each time I require new lenses, I do an internet search for my brand and prescription.
The Optical store always come in much cheaper.
I was sceptical at first. So many online scams.
I ordered my first batch. They arrived promptly.
No issues, the genuine article and I have been reordering for myself and my wife over the last 12 months.

Great service and sunglasses
Ordered sunglasses after reading excellent reviews and they didn’t disappoint. The sunglasses were shipped the following day! Really pleased with my Ray Bans and at least £40 cheaper than competition. Would definitely recommend!

It is always difficult buying on line from business's you know nothing about, wondering if your money is going down the drain.
I needed some more Maui Jim glasses because I find them fantastic and their lenses really work for me so I shopped around researching each shop and found very good reviews for The Optical Store UK. I contacted them via email. They responded very quickly so I went ahead with my purchase.
Ringing them initially was a bit off putting as I got an answer machine telling me that customer service wasn't available at this time which seemed odd however I did persevere and subsequently I have had several conversations with them and they have been great!
It's a family run business, they did what they said they would do and located the glasses I wanted, posted them out to me ahead of the schedule having rung me to check I would be at home to receive the signed for next day delivery parcel.
Hesitate not, this is a legit company who do what they say and still have sound values not often met with these days.

I had a very frustrating experience with this company.
I received contact lenses that caused significant discomfort, and from the start I made it clear that my concern was about the quality of the lenses themselves. However, instead of properly investigating this, they repeatedly focused on my prescription and used it as a reason not to proceed.
Despite explaining multiple times that the issue was not prescription-related, I felt completely ignored. My actual concern was never addressed, and the responses felt like copy-paste replies rather than a genuine attempt to resolve the problem.
It’s incredibly disappointing when a company refuses to even consider a potential product fault and instead deflects responsibility.
Poor customer service and no real willingness to help. I won’t be ordering from them again.

We’re sorry to read your review, Funda/Millie, particularly as we responded promptly to each of your emails and spent considerable time trying to understand and support you with the concerns you raised.
As explained throughout our correspondence, we did not dismiss the possibility of a quality related issue. However, certain checks are required to be completed before a quality claim can be assessed, including verification of the prescription being used. This is because symptoms such as blurred vision, discomfort and poor visual performance can be caused by factors other than a manufacturing defect.
After requesting this information on multiple occasions, the document eventually provided was a sight test rather than a contact lens prescription. Furthermore, it showed powers of -10.00 and -11.00, whereas the contact lenses you ordered were -9.50 for both eyes. This discrepancy provided a clear explanation for the issues reported and meant we are unable to proceed with any manufacturer claim, since you ordered the incorrect prescription.
We are always happy to support customers with genuine product quality concerns and process manufacturer investigations where appropriate. However, we cannot accept responsibility for issues arising where contact lenses have been ordered incorrectly, or contrary to the prescription required.
Whilst we appreciate you are disappointed with the outcome, we feel your review does not fairly reflect the service provided. Our team acted professionally, responded to every email promptly and followed the correct process throughout. We remain committed to supporting customers fairly and consistently, and we are proud with the overwhelming number of reviews that reflect the dedication and support of our customer service team.

Excellent Service - 2nd Time of Ordering
This is the 2nd time of ordering from the Optical Store. My opticians had recommended these eyebrows, Systane Complete, as I have very dry eyes, Pinguncula, & Posterior Vitrous Detachment. The only place I have been able to buy these drops off the shelf, has been Boots. But they are nearly twice the price & don't always have the 'Complete' drops in stocks. The Optical Store has been really efficient. Always having stock, delivery with 2-4 days & occasionally a 10% discount. Plus, big bonus, a box of 4 of these drops easily fits through the letter box, so no hassle of deliveries not arriving when they were supposed to have!
