Pawtrack or now PawTracker is a scam. The product does not work or connect to GPS. Even when you send back the product for a refund, they continue to take money out of your account for the GPS subscription. Each time I have to dispute the transaction with my bank. They were based in the UK but have now removed their website / email contacts and seem to be listed online in Texas. Do not buy this product.
Quite simply, it just doesn't work. It has never connected to any network, as far as I can tell. After further research, it seems it's supposed to connect through 2G but I don't think any networks run on 2G anymore. Confusing instructions. I contacted their customer service through the app but never heard back and emailed them directly about returning the product for a refund and have yet to hear back from them. I guess I'm just going to have to contest the charge through my CC company.
I Bought one, it didnt work. Returned within timeline. Then they claimed it wasnt returned within the timeframe. When that failed they claimed it had been worn. (I had it once outside for a test that failed).
Then they just kept the unit and wouldnt return it.
In addition, they kept charging me for months for their "service".
Check Amazon reviews, check the BBB. This isnt a company you want to deal with it.
This collar is a very unreliable device. It fails in every respect. It is not durable and damaged easily. This is the second collar. The collar cannot withstand cat scratching it off and damaging it despite adjusting the collar correctly to fit my cat.
There is no indication to determine if the collar is connected to a mobile phone network.
It fails to update consistently.
I have had a replacement which is no better than the first.
I had high hopes, but It is a worthless piece of expensive junk.
