Amy was a great host, very engaging and informative. Enjoyed testing all the different notes and although it was tricky to imagine how they'd blend together and my end fragrance wasn't quite what I expected, I do love it.
Only reason for knocking a star off was the location. The bog standard hotel conference room didn't really fit with the quality of the experience.

The lady leading the session was very nice and knowledgeable, but overall this was not what we were expecting. It turned out to be a 2-hour meeting-style discussion about senses, with no music or background atmosphere to lighten the mood. The room was so quiet you could literally hear people swallow — it felt heavy, uncomfortable, and definitely not fun. Some of us were even struggling to stay awake.
Yes, we did end up making a perfume, but the vibe was completely flat and the whole experience was really boring. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this at all.

A super, relaxing...and informative...afternoon! A chilled Prosecco or orange juice on arrival, Mark & Philly were very knowledgeable regarding the World of Fragrances and created a welcoming, fun atmosphere in very comfortable surroundings...My friend & I left the session, each with our own unique fragrance, together with memories of a lovely afternoon! Highly recommended as a novel gift for anyone who has a nose for perfume!

Didn't really know what to expect but this experience was superb from start to finish. Lovely welcome from our stylist Amy, nice glass of prosecco and got to know the other guests. Amy was very knowledgeable and her passion for fragrance was very obvious throughout the session. Plenty of time to become familiar with the various note breakdowns which enabled us to blend our own bespoke perfume which was made up very quickly and beautifully presented. Plenty of opportunities to ask questions, I really enjoyed the session and would recommend it 100% - not only to other fragrance enthusiasts but anyone who wants to try something a little different. Thanks to Amy and a great team.

From the moment we arrived and were given a glass of Buck’s Fizz, to the moment we left a couple of hours later with our curated perfumes, this whole experience was very special indeed!
Our hosts were informative and friendly, the scents interesting (and some were gorgeous, so they were chosen as part of my perfume!), the other guests cordial, and the room well laid out and comfortable with tea/ coffee/ biscuits available during a break too.
This was a thoughtful birthday present - and one that I really enjoyed. I’ll be ordering more of the perfume I made!

Alison was very helpful and knowledgeable. Really enjoyed creating my own fragrance. Would definitely recommend this experience.

The experience was good but let down by very unhappy looking staff.

Very enjoyable experience

Felt the group was too big. There should be more interaction. The
Room was not appropriate - size/noise/temperature. When outside doors open as well, it was noisy from people having drinks/lunch.
Too long sat waiting for perfume to be made - over an hour. People ideally needed to be on small tables to allow interaction, thoughts etc. Crypt sheets to explain the backgrounds of the different layers of perfume. Time to put smells together (felt a bit rushed to experiment and be listening to the next description). Did like the perfume that I created, had a nice afternoon out.

Great experience. Mark was very informative and explained everything well and in a fun way. Would recommend for anyone who wants a fun few hours learning about fragrance.

Really enjoyed it. The Prosecco or orange juice was a nice welcome. The venue was a little too crowded and squashed for the number of people, and the smells became overpowering in the small room. I couldn't always hear the lady who was speaking. However it was a fun activity and I was pleased with the perfume that I took away.

We recently used The Perfume Studio for a Hen Do in Norfolk. We arranged to do a Perfume Making workshop at our accommodation with 19 guests, and had the most incredible time. Julie arrived in plenty of time to set up, and throughout the workshop was SO kind, helpful and friendly. Julie provided everything required to build a beautiful perfume including a wide variety of scents and perfume bottle colours - the whole experience was just so much fun, but also really relaxing. Along with each scent, Julie described what was in it, and which designer perfumes you could find it in - it was so interesting! We would all highly recommend The Perfume Studio to anyone wanting to organise a wonderful activity for a group of friends - it was so enjoyable and we will definitely be using them again in the future. Thank you again!

A nice two hour experience giving some insights into perfume making but also a lot of sales talk which together with the introduction takes up the better half of the whole experience. The second hour seemed very rushed as there a lot of different middle and top note perfumes to smell and to try matching them to an end product of creating your own perfume.

An amazing couple of hours learning about all the different notes used in perfume and then making our own signature scent. So interesting how the different notes smell when combined and the ladies running our class where so helpful and informative. Highly recommend.

I’ve been ordering my perfume for a couple of years. It’s truly lovely and I get so many comments. I really enjoy telling admirers that it’s my design!
I recently got in a muddle on line ordering but was contacted by the wonderful Chris. It was so nice and personal. The trouble these days is you feel like a robot!🤣 However, The Perfume studio makes you feel valued.

Really enjoyed this. Amy was fab! Talked through all the notes, was interactive with the audience and most importantly - helped me put my fragrance together when I started to go nose blind at the end.
Well worth the cost for the experience and what you get.

We hired the Perfume Studio to host a corporate event for us. Communication was very good and they were very considerate of our requests and willing to shape the evening around them. Our stylist Kat was fantastic and all of the guests were very happy and complimentary.

I attended with a group of friends and we had a wonderful time. If you have sensory issues, it can feel a little overwhelming to smell so many different fragrances, but the atmosphere in the room was full of excitement! I had so much fun, and being able to name my own blend of perfume was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this experience.
