Following the initial demo session, we readily chose Phonics School over other options from various schools and countries. Our aim was to improve our daughter's phonics abilities, as she was entirely new to the English language, jumping straight into year 2. Thanks to Phonics School, she not only caught up with her classmates but also surpassed them. I appreciated how the teacher found ways to motivate our child to speak, express her ideas, and gain confidence in spelling. I valued the weekly progress updates from the teacher, the flexibility of rescheduling when needed, and the provided video recordings. A big thanks to Sophie and Donna for their dedication in enhancing Aylin's phonics skills.

Our daughter who is in Year 3 in Australia attended one-on-one classes with Boe for several months, to support her reading and spelling progression. I can’t recommend The Phonics School highly enough, Sophie was amazing - arranging all our classes and keeping us informed of any changes to schedule or teachers, and Boe was delightful, so bubbly and kind to my daughter while making sure to keep her on task for every minute of the half hour classes. For anyone searching for a way to support their child’s phonics knowledge The Phonics School is the place to go!

My son spent 2 years learning English 2 times a week and made a really great progress.

The Phonics School gave a great start in phonics for my child. The teacher, Ms. Lisa was simply amazing in developing interest in my child for phonics and helping with grasping the sounds quickly with a variety of engaging games. The school always came forward when I had to change the time. Teachers were really nice, we always talked about topics that I was intrigued in. We read, wrote and talked about topics that were very interesting. To make the learning process more fun, the teachers found fun games.
I`m very happy that I learned here for a few years, I gained a lot of knowledge about English and the topics we disgused!

The Phonics School is simply fantastic. We have been clients for over three years and would give it all the stars in the sky if possible! Our amazing teacher Donna is so kind and encouraging, yet firm, and keeps the lessons interesting. She has made all the difference in our daughters spelling journey. The owners are very prompt and polite and always available for any questions.

Our children have had a wonderful experience with The Phonics School over the past several years. The teachers are friendly, upbeat and encouraging, making the lessons fun and engaging even for the more reluctant pupils. Individual learning needs (and challenges) are specifically taken into account and the administration of the lessons (in terms of responsiveness, flexibility and customer care) is top notch. Highly recommend.

My daughter has had classes for 3 years now and we will definitely continue next school year! Since our everyday language is Latvian, these lessons help my daughter maintain her fluency in English at a conversational level! My daughter who is 5 yo now have been working with The Phonics School for 2 years, since the start of covid. We are very grateful to have The Phonics School helping us during the difficult time when schools were suspended. We decided to continue with the Phonics School after Covid since we saw improvements with my daughter’s spoken English using phonics. English is not our native language but the teacher is able to engage my daughter well (it is truly happy to hear their conversations during the class) and provide her progressive exposure to English speaking, listening and writing. Our goal was to increase the phonics skill of my daughter since she was completely new to the English environment starting directly from year 2. With the help of the phonics school, we were able to catch up with our peers and go beyond it. I liked the how teacher is find way to encourage kid talking, sharing her thoughts, getting confidence in spelling. I liked the weekly progress feedback from the teacher. I liked the flexibility of changing schedule agreed in advance if something comes up from both ends. I liked the provided video recordings. I have been very happy with my daughter’s lessons with the Phonics school, she has a wonderful teacher, very patient with my daughter and excellent at keeping her motivated. It has been great as a parent to watch my child grow in confidence in writing and reading and the progress she has made with her skills under her teachers guidance online which has been a great introduction to English reading and writing. The phonics school is approachable, flexible and offers a high standard service.
