It's not my first order, and as a third year Electronic Engineering and IoT student, it's essential to buy these components such as Raspberry Pi boards and accessories. The best way to order from an official partner like Pi Hut. My order arrived quickly, safely, and well packed.

Awful customer service. I ordered an item and received an e-mail confirming my order and noting that the order was being prepared ready to be shipped. One working day later I received a terse e-mail noting "your order has been cancelled" - with no explanation. On responding to that e-mail requesting an explanation I was advised "we could not capture your payment". A quick call to my credit card company indicated that there was nothing wrong with the payment and that they were waiting for Pi Hut to claim same. Pi Hut's processes and procedures clearly need some work! Meantime I sourced the component from elsewhere.
Update: Regarding the "proof" of inability to authorise payment mentioned in Pi Hut's response to the paragraph above (which merely consisted of a statement to that effect), I discovered that the funds were in fact debited from my credit card in favour of The Pi Hut on 16th August 2024. Clearly there was never any difficulty in collecting payment. Six working days later a refund has still not been credited to my account. I appreciate the apology from The Pi Hut but nonetheless I repeat my assertion that The Pi Hut's processes and procedures need revision!

Excellent store with great customer support. An adafruit device I have bought from them 11 months ago died and, after reaching out to customer support, they responded very quickly and shipped a replacement.

Order never arrived, despite me complaining, the item never got past the Peterborough sorting office. Whilst I appreciate this is not the fault of Pi hut I have no item and am worse off because of it. Delayed my project now needing to seek item elsewhere! Requested that a new item was sent and just received total silence. This is the first time I’ve ever posted a one star review, very disappointing!

I got the Pi desktop kit, it is a very nice full kit and I soon had the NVMe SSD up and running. Sadly the included keyboard had a dew bad keys on its membrane - reached out to their support and a new one was soon winging its way to me.
Their customer support is friendly, knowledgeable and quick to respond. Overall a great company to use.

Putting 1 star, since when I tried to leave average-rating review on their website, they just didn't post it. This way they get perfect user review ratings, close to 5-stars on their page, by not posting anything with low scores.
Ordered Raspberry Pi Zero W + Raspberry Pi Compatible Wireless Gamepad / Controller from them (12GBP) time ago.
The controller was total money waste - from time to time it stopped working, and signal between USB dongle and controller disappeared for some seconds, which made game experience really bad. When opened it, inside there was cheapest electronics, =>I could buy similar controller for 4EUR in Latvia.

For me, this is an easy five stars for PiHut. End to end, the client experience was simply superb and is a template for how to trade online, with decent pricing, super-friendly and informative website, and fast posting (UK). In recent days, this is the second order I've placed with PiHut and, just like the first time, the whole process was super-smooth and just worked. I can honestly say that, from now on, this will be my go-to for RPi and Ardunio tech. Thanks guys!

Ordered a Pi Zero, which arrived next day, but was faulty. Was sent pre paid return label, and got a replacement a couple of days later, no quibbling. Excellent service.

I've bought a lot of kit from Pi Hut (must be in excess of 100 items) and I have never been disappointed with either the quality of the products they supply or with the service provided.
On the odd occasion where a product's performance had been found to be disappointing, their no quibbles return system dealt with the issue quickly and fairly - either by refund or replacement. I can heartily recommend this supplier. And, just in case you're wondering, I have no associations or affiliations to Pi Hut !!

had a few issues at first but they where very quick off the mark to replace the items (next day), there support is out of this world all it took as an email and support where all over it offering advice and fixes to the issues i was having,

There was a mixup in my most recent order, not sure if it was my fault or some error crept in. However it was dealt with quickly and efficiently. It was resolved within 48 and I had a refund back in my account. Would happily use again.

Ordered a Pi 5. After a couple of days it developed a faulty HDMI port and then the SSD stopped responding. After swapping hardware, flashing a new card etc. I tried to contact them for a return. Oh dear, what a lot of nonsense. Multiple exchanges of support messages and no sign of a return let alone refund. The Pi Hut website promises a no quibble return. This clearly nonsense.
If you want a Pi, order via Amazon who will at least honour UK consumer legislation.

I bought from pi hut because it worked out about £2 cheaper than ordering from amazon, and promised first class delivery.
6 days later I had not received my order- asking around, apparently this is common.
I'm trans and the pi hut also began emailing me using my previous name, which they had retained from an order I had placed in 2016(I did not make an account. They just decided to keep it for 8 years and assume it was current despite me entering my current details). I opened a support ticket and asked them to update my details, and was told it had been done.
A few days later I got an email from reviews.io in...my previous name. Asking for a review.
Pi hut shared data I entered 8 years ago, which I'd asked them to correct, with a third party who I did not consent to them sharing it with(their 2016 privacy policy does not mention sharing this data with reviews.io). Right now as I write this reviews.io is offering to post this with my previous name attatched- no option to update it.
Strong DO NOT USE on this site- go for amazon or CPC or any of the other proffessional deaiers.
Edit:
The pi hut has responded saying that they have reached out to me. They have indeed, and their response was that it was reasonable and legal to hold and distribute this data. There is no justification given for holding this data for 8 years from a single order, nor for failing to update it.
They also responded to me requesting that they and reviews.io update my details by _removing_ all of my details, including the negative review assosciated with them, and the ability to leave a replacement review.
EDIT 2:
The pi hut have apologised for how they handled it and are looking into fixing their systems. Leaving it as one star because the experience of getting this sorted was _awful_ and borderline hostile for much of it.
