As a first time buyer with 10k to spend i didn't have a clue where to begin. Tbe Pure Gold Company was suggested by a Google search. Obviously being wary of any investment with a co.pany.i didn't know I made the initial contact by online form. I was quickly contacted by a member of the team who answered all my questions in a language I understood. No pressure at all to buy I went away and did some more research. I had a few more questions, again answered in polite, timely and non condescending manner. After purchase received coins within a week and was kept updated on the progress of my order up until point of delivery. Very happy with the service and have no problem at all recommending.

After coming across TPGC through their well done marketing, even popping up on some of the podcasts I follow. Mr Saul is a great speaker and face for the company. I was interested in working for what was regarded as one of London's best Gold brokering companies and also become one of the best.

It left much to be desired in how they run their company and I won't be recommending them to my investment network.

It's a basic expectation that if I have the camera turned on in an interview, the recruiter should do the same.

Ignoring that etiquette point. The recruiter asked me the standard questions why I wanted to work in this sector and he couldn't answer basic questions on the commission structure.

The feedback after the interview was I was too money focused, for a sales role with a high commission?

Being money focused isn't a bad thing, in my case it's to provide for my son and secure a sustainable future. Hence I am already invested in Gold. Many of your clients are likely to be money focused as well. Did you internal recruiter miss the memo this is the financial services industry?

My advice to upper management is what made your company successful was the attention to details, marketing and your reputation. But your recruitment process could be vastly improved.

Had some savings and looking for a long term investment, decided to invest in gold mainly due to their be no cgt. Kallum was extremely professional and made the choice easy. There was no sales pressure etc. he even obliged insending extra info to me when my bank was being extra cautious around releasing my money

In July 2025, I wrote an enthusiastic review of the Pure Gold Company. I had no experience of buying Gold and needed someone to guide me through the process. Charlie Nevill was very patient and understanding. Most importantly, I didn’t feel any pressure to buy.
Later, I added two more purchases - and duly the price of Gold surged.
After six months, I wanted to see what my holding was worth. However, the company only offers buy-back prices on an individual basis. At the same time, I noticed several very negative reviews on Trustpilot – which had not been there the first time I looked. People were saying the selling process was not nearly as simple as the buying. Some were disappointed with the prices they were offered for their coins.
Since this was the sort of thing that would weigh on my mind, I decided to sell a small portion of my holding, just to assure myself that my money was safe.
I am pleased to say I was offered a good price – and I really did get it. The money was in my bank account within two days, and Tommy Lawson in the Operations department could not have been more helpful.
So, the five stars are still deserved.
