Poor - pretty sure this book that I ordered two weeks ago and MIRACULOUSLY went missing with no tracking number - will appear on their site at a MUCH higher cost in a few months. Its very common for Abe retailers to do this (I've received 1 in 6 orders thru Abe) - but this bookstore's ratings pretty much indicate they are cowboys. Avoid.

A tough one to rate. They're certainly not very timely or communicative: I only got any kind of order confirmation the day before the estimated delivery, and then two packages arrived 3 and 4 days late with little warning of how they were being batched up.

On the other hand, I ordered 9 books most of which I was having difficulty finding in other places. From online reviews I thought at least one of them would turn out to sneakily not really be in stock and get delayed for ages, but nope they're all here. So on balance I am really happy and would recommend giving The Saint a try if you're looking for slightly obscure titles and don't mind waiting a little extra time to get hold of them.

I placed my order on Sunday via eBay and contacted the seller today to request an update on its status. The seller was unable to provide any information regarding dispatch or progress, responded in an unprofessional and discourteous manner, and then cancelled my order without my knowledge or consent.

As a result, I have been left with insufficient time to source the item elsewhere, despite needing it by Saturday. This has caused significant distress.

Cancelling an order without buyer authorisation and failing to provide basic order status information falls well below acceptable seller standards. It can only be a scam company. He even lied on the cancellation form advising that I requested it! Dishonest and likely a scam.

Perfect speedy service. Good packaging. New book ordered 30 December. In spite of New Year events, weekend and holiday, book arrived on Sunday 4 January.. Couldn't be better.

Absolutely shameful service.

Bought 2x books for grandchildren through abe books for delivery on or before 19th December (obviously Christmas presents).

Never heard a word.

Contacted on 20th to ask where the order was.

Purchase reversed on the 21st.

What a complete and utter waste of time.

This seller, despite his "rave " reviews by some, is a complete time waster , I ordered from this sellers AbeBooks account. who seems to have multiple pages across ebay , Biblio and AbeBooks. total waste of time kept me waiting for days and NEVER posted my order, only for it to be refunded with the message "bookseller accepted order in error" . DO not waste your time with this seller , he will never dispatch what you want , and just string you along with pitiful excuses

I was looking for a specific book using Biblio and The Saint Bookstore was the only UK based book store with this availability.

I was really happy with the packaging and the book arrived in pristine condition in a cardboard sleeve.
I needed an invoice, contacted The Saint Bookstore by email and received a response within a couple of hours.
Very happy with the overall experience and specifically with customer services quick response.

Book arrived pages untrimmed .....very poor

After 2 orders from different shops got cancelled last minute, I found the deluxe edition of the book I wanted (Onyx Storm) on that one a few days before the release. For a decent price (£26) I was not hopeful of it really being the deluxe edition as advertised BUT it was! It arrived in a few days, safely and well packaged. I'm so happy. Thank you so much!!!

The book arrived in undamaged packaging but the jacket was torn in two places and the hard cover was crushed and split in two places. They obviously sent me a damaged book and lied about its condition, listed it as Good not Poor.
Avoid this seller.

I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered.

I'm very pleased with the service from The Saint Bookstore. I ordered a large new hardback and it arrived well packaged and protected in cardboard (always a crucial consideration for me when ordering books). The delivery time (using Yodel) was just 2 days beyond the given 3-6 estimated days, but I consider 8 days quite reasonable.
I'd definitely use The Saint Bookstore again.

BE WARNED, DO NOT ORDER FROM THE SAINTBOOKSTORE AS THEY USE UNDERHAND ADVERTISING WHEN LISTING BOOKS.
I ordered a book and received a Spanish version. They are a UK based seller and listed the book in English with no warning it’s the Spanish version as other UK listings clearly state. The IBAN brings up a Spanish version so either list it in Spanish or state it is a Spanish version!!! Who looks up every IBAN when the book is listed in english???
The seller refused to reimburse me for postage, they simply stated I received the book I ordered. To which I reply and you are receiving another stinking review!

I should have read the reviews before ordering in this store via biblio. I received a book in Spanish and in the website there is nothing pointing at this, everything is in English. They insist that I should pay for the return fees since the IBAN number points out to the Spanish version, obviously I don’t google this number every time that I buy a book, it’s basically a scam.

I needed to return a book and was advised the seller would refund. Since returning the item I've not heard anything from the company. I sent them proof of posting but still nothing, I've paid fro the book, return postage and don't have the book. Extremely poor returns service.

It took them 2 weeks to mail out my book. I live in Australia so this makes everything even longer. Get your act together!

In the first week of March 2024 I ordered a book - Techno-Feudalism by Yanis Varoufakis. It was posted on 11 March and arrived on 15 March. The book was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. The price, including postage, was the lowest I could find from any bookstore. Needless to say I am very pleased with the service I got from The Saint Bookstore.
I was srprised to see some of the negative reviews of this store on Trustpilot and want to add a little balance. My experience was first class.

Book still not arrived nearly 2 weeks after ordering.

Ordered a Depeche Mode biography through Biblio. Delivery took a little longer than estimated by Biblio but the book arrived in perfect condition. A new copy of a book that is a little difficult to get hold of. A pressie for my husband. Thanks The Saint Bookstore!

Purchased a book through Biblio with a 3-6 working day delivery estimate. Over 15 days and two emails went by and it still hadn't arrived. Although pleasant in language, the email I received in return was evidently copy and paste (considering I received the same email word for word on two separate occasions assuring me the matter would be dealt with). Over 20 days later I received a refund from Biblio and, to my knowledge, the book I purchased never even left their store.
