I had an excellent experience with Metro Salvage in Bolton and would highly recommend them.

I travelled several hours to scrap my written-off car, and they offered me a very fair price. While I was there, I also bought a used car at a great price, and it's been reliable, economical, and running perfectly.

The team were friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful throughout. What impressed me most was their honesty. After accidentally leaving money in my old car, Adam went above and beyond by checking the crushed vehicle, recovering the money, and transferring it back to me.

Outstanding customer service and integrity are hard to find these days. A huge thank you to Adam and the team. I wouldn't hesitate to use Metro Salvage again or recommend them to others.

My car broke down it wouldn’t go in gear .. I rang and spoke to Mandy .. the car was collected within a day, I got a call from Mandy saying what was wrong with the car along with the price .
Great price .
The car was fixed and dropped back off .
Such a stress free experience.

I was looking for a hinge for my C4 grand power tailgate I'd rang quite a few breakers with out any luck. I rang the Scrappers/ metro salvage who rang me back when they had found one. I wasn't able to collect as my car wasn't safe to drive with it having the faulty tailgate gate. So it was posted to me and arrived on the day it was need. Thanks guys I really appreciate what you've done for me

Bought a wing mirror which was delivered to me when received it was the wrong one I was told that they had another one but I had to send the wrong one back which i payed for that was 3 weeks ago still not received my mirror or my money back not to be trusted its now been 2 months

From start to finish all the team that I was in contact with were great

Awful Staff Very Very disrespectful Behaviour. Told me on the Phone to Come over from 25miles we have the parts .when i Get there Says Not Got it . No apologies. After i start Conversation. Called there doggie Guys working inside start Shouting and told me Will kick you out . I have full video with Audio on My Car DashCam will put it on YouTube is well . 👎👎👎👎👎👎

Drove in with a smashed up front bumper from an accident that had just happened a few streets away, the lads Liam & Steve were great! Calmed me down as I was still shaking from being run into, found me a matching bumper & had it fitted within the hour. Even knocked the price down as I was in such a state. Will definitely use again & will be recommending to everyone. Thanks so much fellas, I drove in almost crying & drove out laughing, what more can you ask for 😀😀😀

I dealt with a guy called David Brownrigg he owns multiple companies connected to scrappers I.E engines r us /pure engines he starts up companies check him out on companies house and then dissolves them owing people lots of money like me ,would like to hear from people with similar problems with him although I had gone through the courts pure engines is now dissolved and it’s hard to get the money back but I will find him via other methods.
Avoid at all costs.

Mandy, was both polite, knowledgeable and had all the parts I had enquired about ready for me soon as I arrived. Would highly recommend and use again.

0 stars if I could. Terry called me to arrange pick up of my vehicle. Same day, no show. Day after we arranged no show. After the weekend he said Monday. Monday no show. They made me change my V5 over to then before they even picked up the car or paid me causing me severe delay to then before told we don’t cover my area anymore. Utter lies . When I called they said Terry was the boss but when spoken to him he told me his boss said they don’t cover my area in a space of 3 days. Time wasting scammers ! Watch out they blocked me straight after and wouldn’t help me at all

Oh my god rang scrappers to scrap my car because it was dangerous defective and not safe to find out it will be sold on and probably get someone killed if ever driven again

Total joke of o company scrapped bmw straight their to collect scrapped a 56 plate corsa came took straight away 3 weeks later still waiting on the money then today 15,06,2024 they offer 50 for the corsa when originally price was 150 and I have a recording of the conversation 200 for a qashqai to witch they did not collect had to use a direct company wich gave me more than these clowns even offered them a winnebago for free to which they have dragged their heels that much the offer is now off the table police have been contacted over the theifing rats and would strongly advise anyone to keep wide of these clowns see youse in court very soon

They rang me offered to scrap my car. Agreed a price a day and a time. I sat in most of the day, they didn't turn up. Rang them, to be told it wasn't book in, we'll come and get it tomorrow, you'll be rung in the morning. No phone call rang them at midday to be told it wouldn't be collected for another two days oh and we'll give you £75 less than agreed. Avoid them is my advice.

Rang yesterday to have our car scrapped. They came this morning, very efficient, great service and the money was in the bank within 15 minutes. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Received a message offering a price for my car. Recovery driver arrived checked my car took photos sent them to office agreed price, loaded my car onto wagon exchanged paperwork . Then driver told me office was only offering £150 less than we’d already agreed
