Wow, the triple glazed mock Sasha windows are truly amazing! I live on a relatively busy road and was constantly blighted by road / traffic noise (with double glazed acoustic uPVC sliding sash). The windows made an instant difference, now road / traffic noise is like a faint hum on sound metres versus the 40db I was getting before installation. But that's not the only benefit, the u-value of the windows is around 0.5/0.6 u - our rooms retain heat for much longer and we don't need the heating on for very long to heat the house.

Knowledgeable, helpful and responsive throughout, and the windows installed are very effective.

We had secondary glazing installed to reduce road noise. The product works very well and installation was professional. One issue was the original black out blinds that were recommended were not adequate. The team changed these and did additional work to install appropriate blackout blinds at no extra charge. Would highly recommend.

This company went to a lot of effort to get the windows right in my flat, which were difficult to colour match. They even came back and did the finishing while I was at home to make sure that everything was done the way I wanted - very much appreciated.

We bought a number of sash windows from them along a sound proof door. Sebastian and team were helpful and professional throughout from design/consulting to final installation. Sebastian also set our expectations well regarding how effective they would be. It was a serious investment for us but in the end we are very happy. The windows are in perfect keeping with our area, are well made and are great at reducing noise from the main road... but it's the door that's real highlight; it looks amazing, is highly sound proof and is built like a tank. Overall, very happy.

I bought a house last October, which was perfect in every way apart from my garden backing on to a Primary School playground and MUGA (just 4.5m distance from house to MUGA). I initially installed new double glazing but the noise of kids screaming and shrieking was still unbearable (66-70dB at times) and I had to wear ear defenders as I work from home. The noise permeated every habitable room in my house and was causing extreme stress. I wanted the optimum level of soundproofing, and found The Soundproof Windows via google. I moved house during one of the lockdowns and when the pub at the back re-opened I realised I needed to do something about my windows! I did a lot of research on soundproof windows and am absolutely delighted that I choose the soundproof windows company. The windows cut out all the noise from the pub and look fantastic. I have a studio flat opposite a station and on a high street - convenient but so close I could even hear the Oyster cards beeping and the hustle and bustle and buses etc. Secondary glazing from Soundproof windows really worked and have transformed the living space and they look incredibly smart. The whole process was good from the initial enquiries through to the sound survey and the installation. Was given a project plan with regular updates on the order with good communication throughout.

Excellent quality, project management and nice people !

I ordered soundproofed secondary-glazed units to sit inside my existing double-glazed sash windows. The order was placed in October and installed in February. The service that I received was consistently helpful and attentive, and the installation was professional and tidy. The new units are not too obtrusive and they have significantly reduced the disturbance that I suffered from passing road traffic.

We did a lot of research before deciding on The Soundproof Windows. A lot of companies claim to provide acoustic insulation but….actually they don’t. They’re just selling more expensive double glazing. We also found that the same companies didn’t actually understand what we required and made simply wild, inaccurate claims about the quality of their windows. It was quite tedious to deal with these “experts” who were so unprofessional. And then my husband (who is particularly sensitive to aircraft noise) found Sebastian who is simply unique. A true professional who is serious about his product & actually seems to enjoy his work. He even measured the noise from the aircraft which (unfortunately) fly over our house. Even better, there was no hard sell. We were extremely fortunate that we were able to visit a recent customer who lives nearby to hear their views and check out the windows in action as they are also on the flight path and have a train line at the bottom of their garden. That’s when we realised what fantastic windows these are. The windows really do block out an enormous amount of noise - what you are left with is not so much a dull sound - more of a reverberation perhaps. It’s difficult to describe. It also transforms the climate inside the room. Our house is old and draughty with high ceilings-temperature wise, the new windows have made a massive difference. Another thing I was not prepared for was how beautiful the windows are - both from the inside and the outside. And several people have remarked on that, too. Perhaps the only downside is that after having Sebastian’s team in our home for a week, I never want to have any other workmen in this house ever! They were amazing. They arrived early every day-were incredibly courteous and careful. We honestly didn’t know they were here for most of the time. I have never come across such organised, tidy workers. They left our home immaculate. The windows are expensive but you are paying for a product and service that are unsurpassed and most importantly do their job.
