Exceptional service

Alex and the stag company have provided exceptional service from start to finsih. Making the whole process effortless! I can't thank them enough for all the agro they've saved me trying to organise a stag for 20+
Would highly recommend using the stag company to anyone looking to book a stag to remember!

Company seemed to offer a lot but was too rude

Company seemed to offer a lot. I tried to get quotes on the website but it just said pending. Then I got a phone call from a somewhat rude salesperson trying to dissuade me from my own decisions.
I never gave them permission to call me or store that information. Seems very unnecesary just to get some prices.
Decided to not use the company for my stag in end due to prices and unwarranted communication.

Ask for Jamie

I was skeptical about using a company to organise, but Jamie was incredible in his patience, guidance and assistance in helping me organise the stag do in Amsterdam.

I wanted to make sure my brother enjoyed and remembered the event and he (and everyone else) loved it.

We had the canal tour (w/ drinks) and night club entry. Everything was class - highly recomend using the company.

We had a life drawing stag do run by…

We had a life drawing stag do run by Becky and modelled beautifully by Lucy. Both girls were confident and professional and made the event great fun leaving us boys with happy memories and takeaway sketches. I was a little nervous before but so pleased we did it afterwards. It was the best part of the weekend. They were Lovely people and I would highly recommend. James

No complaints I though the stag company…

No complaints I though the stag company were great 17 lads 3 activity's and an overnight stay in Brighton. we had a bit of a mix up with the hotel rooms, but this was no fault of the stag company's. not that we made the rooms anyway. Everthing else went well. I would recommend them anyway.

We had a brilliant time in Prague

We had a brilliant time in Prague. Accommodation was basic but is what we expected for a stag weekend. The guide and activities were spot on. Would recommend.

Stag Weekend Booking to Budapest

We have just booked a stag weekend to Budapest next year. The experience through The Stag Company couldn't have been easier. Sean has been brilliant in helping us with hotels and activities, whilst keeping us informed of everything that will happen during the process. Would highly recommend!

Fun Experience

Had quality time Go Karting up in Newcastle with the lads. Thanks to the Stag Company for organising the trip. Very helpful throughout. Jamie was very helpful and made the payments easy for the lads to manage.

Well Planned Trip.

Well Planned Trip.

Booking with the Stag Company was very easy. They kept everything very controlled and made the experience easy. Couple of trial and error quotes and then a phone call; thats all it took to book. The experiences were good. The steak and strip was brill. However, our tour guide stuck with us and changed a lot of what I had planned externally away from the planned event. The fake stag arrest was quite amateur and very obviously not a member of the police. But the stag enjoyed it and made him sufficiently awkward.

The whole experience was straight forward everything was sorted for us

Great company

All the team was really helpful and responded to emails really quickly.
Everything they explained to me was exactly as it was an it went down really well with all the stag party. This is the 2nd time we have used them and no doubt we will use them in the future.

Excellent value for money, transport is not included

We just had a stag weekend booked through The Stag Company which included bed and breakfast and paintballing (they did offer more, but due to one of our group being 17, was restricted). What I can say is that the hotel was great and paintballing, which included 100 paintballs, was better than other paintballing we have done. The hotel had a breakfast buffet, but the food set us up for the day. We were advised on booking that transport to the experiences weren't included and it didn't take much to find a minibus hire around manchester. The communication with the guys from The Stag Company was good too, even though our numbers did keep dropping and we had to change the reservations at the hotel a bit. All in all, if was really well organised and made the stag do fantastic.

I am extremely disappointed with the…

I am extremely disappointed with the whole experience the biggest single problem for me with this company is the communication piece and overall customer service. The whole thing was very poorly explained, and nearly every time I have had a reply on the portal I feel the messages have been rude or written in a way that my party has been made to feel that contacting the company is a chore for them or we are stupid individuals and why are we asking questions.

I booked a stag weekend in Bournemouth for a party of ten. We were given initial details and brief via a telephone call which seemed to cover everything I needed. I decided to go ahead and paid the deposit. One of the party did cause some issues by not paying on time. We suffered increased costs and an admin fee to get them re-added as a result but my problem with this is upon arriving at our hotel this weekend and going to the events there was no issue with space so not sure why adding someone late was so inflated. I firmly believe the stag company has probably made over £100 a head off the booking.

The hotel itself was really basic and not in a great state. The Russell Court hotel that the stag company picked for us offered no breakfast and is in need of updating and repair. The staff were great but when we arrived our party of ten were placed in 3 rooms each had double and single bed combos meaning that some of our party ended up sharing. The hotel did offer a 4th room with 3 singles to solve the problem but at a cost of £100 per night discounted. I would happily pay this for a 3 star or better hotel but it really feels like 1star accommodation. Parking at the hotel was £50 so we found a local car park 2 minutes away costing £5.80 a day.

Upon arriving on the first day I assumed all the activities would be in or around the Bournemouth area, so very lucky we drove and didn't get the train otherwise we'd have needed to spent hundreds on taxis. We were never made aware that we’d need to travel over an hour to and from acitvities.
We had no address via the website portal for the Go Karting experience. We were unable to get through to the stag company after 15 minutes so hung up being on hold. After ringing two local karting companies we started to panic as we were getting to about an hour from the booking time.
Finally got hold of the stag company and found that the Go Karting was 45 minutes away in Eastleigh near Southampton. The lady I spoke to is the only person from the company who’s actually been friendly and welcoming. We arrived with 5 minutes to spare. I contacted the stag company on the portal later on and frankly think the response was rude. I was directed to check "the final" itinerary but given no instructions how this work, after playing about on my phone I had to go through 3 or 4 different screens. Probably want to speak to the dev team about website layout and navigation.
On the second day we went to the assault rifle shooting with Max Events. The postcode given via the portal is actually 4.5 miles away so had to ask directions from locals to find it. Eventually one of the cars in our party made it and switched on Google location services. The third car arrived late. We weren’t sure where to go as the signs were poor and one of my party was shouted at by a Max Events host for walking through the camping area.

I am just thankful that as a close nit friendship group we were still able to have a good time. Every single person in the group feels we have been massively overcharged for the service and product received. I do understand groups of lads on a stag weekend in any city will be viewed with caution but we have been given the bare bones in terms of accommodation and the communication and instruction has been rubbish.

We understand that communication is essential, and we apologise if you felt our responses on the portal came across as rude or dismissive. Our intention is never to make our customers feel that contacting us is a chore or that their questions are not important.


We do provide comprehensive information in your booking confirmation, including full addresses and other important information, which is provided when the initial deposit is placed. We understand the importance of having this information in advance to allow groups to make arrangements regarding travel.


We regret any inconvenience you faced due to the issue with a late party member and the associated costs. We have strict cancellation policies with our partners, therefore we set the final balance date in line with this and would need to remove any unpaid guests at this point. We appreciate that plans do change and so the option to re-add group members is available, subject to availability. In this instance, as we were inside cancellation the room configuration could not be changed and the new member therefore required their own room, hence the increased cost.


All our UK accommodation is named on the booking confirmation at the time of booking, allowing groups to make an informed decision about the standard of hotel they require, however, we regret that the 2 star Russell Court hotel did not meet your expectations. It is concerning however that you were required to pay additional costs on the day, as 4 rooms were booked and paid for in advance for your group of 10.


We understand that travel times and locations are crucial details, and therefore we detail all this information in your booking confirmation at the time of booking. The final itinerary is then provided around 2-4 weeks prior to departure with detailed guidance and instructions for Max Events included. While the nearest postcode was given according to the final itinerary, the exact location itself doesn't have a specific postcode. Therefore, the itinerary offers clear directions starting from the provided postcode. We apologise if this posed any challenges for your group.


We've looked back at the messages exchanged on departure day and can see that we thanked you for your message, provided instructions on how to locate your final itinerary within your Party Hub, and wished the group a great weekend. We are sorry that this did not land in the helpful and friendly spirit in which it was sent.

The Stag Company made it really easy to book for large groups

The Stag Company made it really easy and straight-forward for myself to plan a stag-do for over 30 guests. Their website provides a user-friendly layout which shows exactly what the groups itinerary is, dates and times etc. The payment section shows when and how much should be paid to secure payments. I was also able to liase with team members at any time and have quick responses to any queries I had. Would highly recommend!

Disappointing experience with the Pub Golf Bar Crawl

We had a Pub Golf activity booked in Newcastle via The Stag Company over this weekend. We were assured over the phone when making the decision to book through The Stag Company that the bars on the list would have prior knowledge of a stag group turning up, and although we could not be guaranteed that we would get in to them if they were too busy, we would not be turned away based on being a Stag group.

Of the 10 locations on the list we were turned away from 3 and one was shut down completely and had been for some time.

I understand that this package was organised through another company - Purple Tiger Management - and sold on through The Stag Company, however some basic due diligence to check that the bars on the list still exist or actually allow stag groups in is a bare minimum.

For the amount of money spent on this package for 12 people, we expected a much more polished experience - and if it had been, we'd have been happy with the high cost. The reason I outsourced this bar crawl was because I do not know Newcastle at all, but I feel the level of effort put into our package I could have achieved with an hour or so on google maps & downloading a score card from the internet.

I don't usually write reviews - sometimes things are better than expected, sometimes worse, that's life. This was so below standard for the cost of the activity that I couldn't not.
