After buying a cheaper after market rubber strap for my Omega AT that didn’t fit the watch as advertised I upped the budget and bought the Aqua Flex with deployment clasp from TST. The quality difference is poles apart and the black sail cloth finish on the rubber strap compliments the black dial of the watch.

The two Ostrich Belly straps are unique and supple. The Badalassi Waxed strap with minimal stitching is fashionable and comfortable. The padded Horween Chromexcel is classic.

Aftersale communication is prompt and responsive. I was able to modify my order easily. All questions that I had about the products were answered. An issue with a ready-to-wear item with a size that differed from the label was readily rectified.

My treasured vintage 18ct solid gold Ebel wristwatch required a replacement strap. I found The Strap Tailor on line. The strap on the Ebel is screwed onto the watch lugs and as such is somewhat more involved and requires a lot more skilled work. The deployment clasp is 18ct gold. With a degree of anxiety i sent the [now removed] strap to be used as a sample and to re-use the hardware. I needn't have worried! 6 weeks later my beautiful Ostrich strap arrived by secure post and i am absolutely delighted. It is everything i expected it to be and once screwed back on to the watch looks better than the original and is a joy to wear. I am suitably impressed. Would i recommend The Strap Tailor? I have three hook and loop watch straps from The Strap Tailor. They are made from high quality materials, rugged and are good looking.

The straps themselves are really great—high quality, great colors (I got multiple nato straps), nice hardware. But what was really great was their customer service—I ended up ordering the wrong size, so I contacted them. While they were helping me, I wanted to get a different color instead of †he same color that I ordered originally, and they were absolutely accommodating and attentive, I got the strap I wanted, which became one of the two go-tos at the moment.
