We recognise that all children and young people are entitled to a learning or leisure experience that respects diversity, enables participation, and considers a variety of learning and recreational needs and preferences. We believe our children and young people have the potential to thrive and be successful. We know that the environment plays a key role in supporting and extending children and young people’s development and learning. We want everyone at TAS to feel relaxed, comfortable and ‘at home’. Most importantly we want them to feel safe and secure. We have taken into consideration feedback from CYP’s who have used our facilities before and developed TAS to create a state-of-the-art provision with specialised rooms dedicated to various activities. We have a fully equipped Immersion Room which is installed with the latest projection equipment so that whilst relaxing and receiving a hug from a huge beanbag, one can fully immerse in whichever environment chosen to play on the projector around the entirety of the room. The environments chosen could be deep under the ocean swimming with brightly coloured fish and turtles, it could be floating with the clouds, it could be a starlit sky, it could be soothing music, whichever environment is chosen immersion room can make it come alive – the possibilities really are endless. We have a fully stocked music room where chart topping hits can be made! The music room is filled with a drum kit, a piano, guitars, woodwind instruments, tambourines and of course our voices! There is also a Ball Pool Room at TAS. Especially kitted out with soft walls and floors and a HUGE ball pool with a slide and so much more.
