Rolex Submariner 16800 (transitional)
I bought my Submariner new 40 years ago. It was last serviced by Rolex in 1999 , it developed issues with it's clasp and needed a service in 2010 and got put in a drawer.
I wanted to recommsion the watch and though Rolex had done a great job , it did disappear into the belly of the beast for months with only chinese whispers of communication through their dealer network.
I came accross Time Savers (and Tim) and though they said 'any make' they did not mention Rolex by name , speaking to Tim he clearly had good knowledge of my model.
Tim booked a service slot , i delivered it personally and talked through my needs/concearns with Tim ,
It was fullly serviced with new seals (and pressure tested !) And returned Perfect with a beautiful service case to boot!
The watch was a 21st present to myself , 40 years later one lesson I have learned in life is why talk to the oily rag when you can talk to the mechanic, Tim is the Mechanic!

Tim was very thorough, explained what might be wrong and gave an estimate, which was exactly what I paid.
The repair was very quick and the charge was much less than I expected compared to what I have been charged elsewhere.
Would highly recommend him and will use him in the future

Time Savers did an excellent job providing a well overdue service of by Breitling. Tim kept me up to date every step of the way with detailed photos at key steps in the process. Very pleased with the result and the saving compared to what I have paid in the past to Breitling.

Excellent service, great prices, highly professional small business

Tim was professional and friendly from our first discussions, completing the repair for an excellent price and in half the originally quoted time.
There was a minor issue with a rogue spec of dust on the dial after assembly, which Tim rectified immediately and was very apologetic. Communication was fantastic throughout. I would happily use again for similar service requirements.

I honestly can’t recommend Tim highly enough. I’ve trusted him with several watches now, including important and valuable vintage pieces, and every single experience has reinforced that I’m leaving them in exactly the right hands.
Tim combines deep technical skill with genuine care and integrity. He takes the time to explain what’s going on, is refreshingly honest about what does and doesn’t need doing, and you never feel rushed or upsold. His workmanship is outstanding, but just as importantly, he clearly treats every watch with respect and attention, as if it were his own.
Finding someone you can trust completely with vintage watches is rare. Tim is one of those people, and I feel very lucky to have found him. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and recommend him without hesitation.

I used The Time Savers following a recommendation by a friend & I'm glad i did because the service I received from Tim was excellent.
I needed an overdue service on an Omega Seamaster Professional with a Co-axial movement. I was nervous about sending it as apart from it's monetary value it has a lot of sentimental value too, but i need not have worried as the great communication & updates set my mind at rest that these guys know what they are doing.
Given the shocking cost of a service these days with Omega (& the ridiculously long turn-around times !) i had delayed my service way too long & as a result a couple of parts had to be replaced but Tim advised me exactly what needed doing & sent photos & charged a very fair rate for each item so the work carried out represented great value for money.
I shall definitely use The Time Savers again in future & because their rates are very fair i won't be waiting so long between services now. 😁

My 2nd service done by Tim this time my vintage Longines from the 1960s. It’s running lovely after Tim has serviced it. Would highly recommend Tim such an easy process from delivery to collection. Thanks again until my next vintage watch needs some TLC.

My husband got his TAG Heuer Formula 1 watch about 35 years ago when he was 18. Around 15 years ago it broke, and with three young children at the time, repairing it just wasn’t a priority. It ended up tucked away in a drawer and forgotten. Recently, our son found it and thought it was pretty cool, which gave me the idea to have it restored as a surprise for our 25th wedding anniversary.

I came across Tim from Time Savers while searching for watch repair services, and from start to finish he went above and beyond. He kept me updated throughout the entire process and even replaced the bezel 'click' at no extra cost.

We gave the restored watch to my husband tonight, and he was genuinely stunned. I can’t recommend Time Savers highly enough. Thank you, Tim, for bringing this watch back to life, he is absolutely over the moon with it.

I entrusted my grandfathers The Time Savers pocket watch to be given a new glass front, second hand and service. The result is overwhelming to have it restored to its former glory! Thank you so much for the time and love you put into this for me. 😊

Five stars 😊thank you Tim for a first class customer service , everything from start to finish made easy.He is extremely knowledgeable I took an old ladies pocket watch that was left to me by my family ..he fixed it and it looks good as new.
He made everything easy from booking in to taking the watch , took time to talk to me explaining the next stage , emailing me with important information about the watch .. dates , age, condition hallmarks etc
On collection I picked up a watch that now worked ,all clean and shiny , explained how to set time and wind it up . It was refreshing to find someone who is such an expert in this field, at a reasonable cost rare nowadays .

I took my watch to The Time Savers for a service, the whole experience was amazing. The communication was excellent, the watch is keeping perfect time and has been cleaned, it’s like new! I will definitely be using them again!

A pleasure to do business with Tim.He collected my Cartier and emailed me the work to be carried out and cost.During the service he kept me updated with several photos of the work in progress .On completion the watch was returned cleaned and in perfect working order after 40 years of running.!If your watch needs TLC take it to Tim.
