The tour was great because we were accompanied by archeologist and volcanologist. The lunch was great, just needs a little more time because its a busy restaurant. You can do a take away for your amazing pizza :)

Matteo was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable on the history of the area and the wider region. He led the group effectively and with a lot of charisma and levity. I would definitely book with him for any other tour.

Paula made our 7hr tour a blast. I didn’t think I’d make it, but with her interest and the constant stream of fantastic information really made it all worth while. If anyone is taking a trip to Rome I hope that get Paula as their guide. Prego Paula from the Texas 8!

The Tour Guy took the expensive and high price money for a Coliseum tour my son and family bought me for my birthday while the family was in Rome. So ALL THIS HAPPENED ON MY BIRTHDAY. I will probably never be in Italy again and never on my birthday I’m sure. Must less the hurt and disappointment my son and family felt thinking they let me down and ruined a thing I’ve waited my whole life to experience. All of this happened because The Tour Guy will show you ratings, reviews, testimonials about how great they are. THEN THEY STICK YOU WITH A 3rd PARTY RANDOM SUBSTANDARD COMPANY. Of course, you only find out after you can cancel. They still absolutely keep ALL OF YOU MONEY even though the 3rd company will tell you how much cheaper their tour costs than what you paid. This is a hide the shell scam game this company pulls on you while on vacation and vulnerable in a new place and limited time free. They delivered less than 10% of what I paid for and tickets I purchased. And yes I have ALL THE RECEIPTS AND 100% truthful. It was an expensive “small group coliseum tour of gladiator gat, exclusive arena floor access, 1st floor, 2nd floor tour with EXPERT PERSONAL GUIDE TO WALK STEP BY STEP WITH YOU. well…………………the guide for this company informed us that she was not going in The coliseum. Also, the truth is she was an extremely elderly lady that was not capable of walking up and down the stairs and physical need to do this tour. I have grandparents and not hating on the elderly. But when spending $700 plus on tours and the guide cannot do any of what you paid for. She let us I the coliseum and turned around and went home. So we got nothing but the $5 entry in and the other $100s are with The Tour Guy who still will not respond after multiple emails, reviews, phone calls, help center on website, etc…. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I’m not paid and use who you choose but “GET MY GUIDE” had an excellent app and absolutely delivered on all 5 things I booked. Believe it or not, they actually did the tours you paid them to do and not stick you with whoever the cheapest company to pawn you off.

Francesca spoke very clear English, which was so helpful. She was really knowledgeable on our cathedral tour. She was very friendly, and asked all of our names and where we were from.

We booked and paid for a tour in Rome. When we arrived at the agreed meeting point, we were told there was a mix up, we weren't on the tour and had to pay again....but we'd get all our money refunded. We did what they suggested. The tour guide was excellent, but stopped the tour midway through because she'd been told by her office to stop. We also have had no refunds and they ignore all my emails. Do not use this company! They are dishonest, disrespectful and inefficient!

Victoria was amazing!! Entertaining, informative and engaging. We have done food tours all over the world and this is one of the best. Highly recommend!

Arianna is an engaging and knowledgeable guide. I really appreciated all the details she shared and her dry humor. Her veteran guide skills kept us all together and was flexible to guide us to specific areas to see unexpected sights such as the rehearsal of the Trooping of the Colour's for the King's Birthday Parade!
