I contacted Flydubai’s office in Hungary after receiving emails advising me to prepare for my upcoming flight on 6 March.

They informed me that there is no option for a partial refund or cancelling only the outbound flight to Colombo while keeping the return. According to them, it is only possible to cancel the entire booking and receive a full refund; partial cancellation is not available.

Based on this information, it appears that we were misinformed when we were told that we would receive a refund. As a result, we purchased a significantly more expensive ticket.

I am very disappointed, as I previously gave you a positive review and held you in high regard.

Could you please advise where I can submit a formal complaint regarding this matter?

The person on the other end was relentless in insisting that I submit a positive review UNDER DURESS and BEFORE receiving service. I was instructed to mention certain names and even email a screenshot of the review as proof. The pressure and tone of urgency underpinning the request did register as suspicious but in the moment, I had been stranded at an airport in the ungodly hours and desperate for any possibility of support. The Travel Makers takes advantage of unsuspecting travelers to mine manufactured credibility. This was sleaziest, most coercive and illegitimate experience I have had the shame of entertaining during a vulnerable moment.

Ayra’s customer service skills was outstanding , I really appreciate everything and she’s a great asset to the company.

Zero stars if I could. Absolute nightmare.

I Spoke with Joe I wasted 4.5 hours of my life on the phone with these people and got nothing resolved. This company is NOT Priceline — they are a shady third-party pretending to be helpful while doing the exact opposite.

They cancelled my booking (without my permission, thinking they were legitimate), then refused to refund my money unless I agreed to leave them a review. Yes, you read that right — they literally tried to hold my refund hostage in exchange for a review. That is beyond unethical.

They are currently withholding part of my balance and giving me the runaround. Every call is scripted nonsense, transfers, holds, and zero accountability.

This feels like a scam operation hiding behind another company’s name. Do NOT call them. Do NOT give them your information. Do NOT trust them with your booking or your money.

I would never, ever do business with them again. Learn from my mistake and stay far away.

Great learning experience on getting scammed! Big shout out to "Charles Smith" for being great at fraudulent schemes. Remember God sees all. Shame on you people who only want to hurt others.
