The writer has used ai to write my book for a human written manuscript. He doesn't answer my message anymore nor the Company TUW. His name is Raph Martin and he doesn't care if you have paid the double price. this company is a fraud. no accountability.

I worked on a number of books now with The Urban Writers and a number of their professionals throughout the processes of creating those books. As a busy professional trying to build a book business, having this kind of help available is invaluable. From Ghostwriting, to editing and Formatting, each person I've worked with has really added value and helped guide me through the process. Notable contributions from Evie Scout on Ghostwriting, Gianna Francis on Editing and both Pat John and Nadya Holmes for Formatting. True masters of their craft, highly recommended.

Don't go anywhere near this crowd. Customers are treated like extras to the process. Customers are treated badly. I feel very badly done by.

There are serious organisational issues in the company. The first problem is taking customers for granted.

It’s assumed that customers know how to operate the clunky platform.

I have had to put in a massive amount of work, time and energy after I paid someone else to do that work. I may as well have done it myself.

And don’t get me started on the money paid for “valet service” – a total waste of money, payment for absolutely nothing.

The whole system is a ripoff designed for the benefit of the organisation with no thought for the customer. Of course the company must benefit - but so should the customer who is paying the fee.

My writer's work was repetitive and in parts no better than a student’s poor work. I told her she needed to fix the repetition but she did not fulfill that request as she should have – again – a waste of time and money. So I have to go back and correct the repetition.

The editing job has been a total nightmare with constant idiot punctuation corrections to be made throughout the manuscript and this is extremely time consuming and terribly boring and I paid someone to do the editing.

I was still in the middle of editing the document when they took it down off their system, so I have been left with a clunky word document which is not the latest version which means I have to go back and redo corrections that I had already done. They gave me no warning about taking the document off their platform.

Their system fails the customer time and time again.
I appointed a paperback formatter and a book description writer - haven't heard from either of them.

I am so pissed off. It’s been a nightmare from beginning to end. And it’s an ongoing nightmare – because I have to go back and repeat hours and hours of work – which I had already completed and which I had already paid them to do.

If you get angry, as I have, they don't respond.
Save yourself the stress, time and money - go somewhere else.

In their comments below they say they will reach out to me to find an appropriate solution. That is not what they've done. They have cancelled my account. They take no responsibility for the problems I have experienced. They've just pissed me off.
ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL BEHAVIOUR.
If they answer this, be advised that their comments are empty and meaningless. How you see them behaving here on this platform is not what their behaviour is in dealing with me.
I don't have what I paid for. I paid for a completed manuscript, cover, book description and formatting. The manuscript I have requires hours of work to fix stupid punctuation errors and repetition - so I do not have a completed manuscript. On top of that they took my document down offer their platform without saving, which means all of my corrections are dead and have to be redone. They did not advise me they were taking it down. I do have a book cover and description. They have refunded me the money for formatting - that's ok but it still leaves me without what I paid for upfront. I now have to run around finding someone to format the book.
