Very overdue item
I ordered a product on 30/11/22.
Website stated 3-7 days for delivery.
Contacted store 14 days later as item not arrived asking them to chase matter up and to resend as I believed the item to be lost.
Quick reply blaming Royal Mail strikes and expect possibly to wait 2-3,weeks which was not mentioned on website. Other items bought online weeks later using Royal Mail have arrived in reasonable time.
Now 22 days and no sign of delivery
This was a Christmas present bought well in advance so very disappointed.
Awaiting reply to 2nd email asking what there policy is regarding lost items.

We are sorry for your obvious disappointment. It's not a matter of 'blame' -it has been a huge challenge for us to work around the issues with Royal Mail deliveries, we have entire consignments of customer parcels which have still not been delivered by RM, for which we are having to take a financial hit. Although we hoped our free delivery would still make up to 7 days, the backlog at RM depots turned out to be beyond what anyone expected. The week after your order we switched away from Royal Mail to mitigate these problems. It's been a very disappointing season for everyone and we are now going through the painful process of having to refund many orders from the same time/consignment that have simply not arrived. They probably will, eventually, but we have no indication as to when that may be and no chance of getting them back either.

Christmas bauble.
The tree ornament I ordered was £10.99, as it was out of stock I said I would accept the other version. This was the campervan with tree on top. Which costs £7.70. I did not receive a refund for difference.

A quick email pointing this out would have resolved this as the one you should have been sent was the same price, not £7.70, which is why you didn't receive a refund, but possibly the wrong item.

The item was fantastic. I got it as a gift to a friend! It is beautiful. The only pity is the post. It took suck a long time to reach me in Ireland! But besides the posteg problem! Everything else is very good!!

We're really sad to see that you only rated us 2 stars as your order was placed on the evening of 6th July and was delivered to you on 9th July using our FREE standard delivery. We think just over 2 days from order to delivery really isn't slow. We do offer express delivery at an additional charge but that wasn't selected for this order. We would also question whether a product at a lower price was the same size and quality as we are usually the lowest price, including delivery resellers of Ascalon products in the UK

Excellent Customer Service
Product as described, good price and arrived quickly. Unfortunately packaging was not the best and product, which was ceramic, damaged. Contacted company, got a reply the same day from Carolyn and a refund. They will look to improve packaging and ensure fragile stickers used in future. Customer service was excellent.
