Several booikings in the past. Always good contact, super friendly and perfect accommodations. When little problems occured -rarely - always a quick solution. Local problems at the villa? E.g. building noise: free upgrade to other villa or optionally a discount. Highly recommended!!

Overall a good experience
Communications with the Villa Agency were spot on and we were happy with the price. The villa was beautiful and everything was as described.
Our only gripe is that the advert states, under the facilities, air conditioning! this lead us to believe that the air conditioning was included in the agreed price. This was not the case! Apparently the advert is stating that air conditioning is available... Therefore, when you get to the property you don't have the controllers and so therefore DO NOT have air conditioning! This was an extra cost...! I felt angry at this especially considering Portugal is a country where it is very likely you will need a/c.
However, this will not stop me from using The Villa Agency again I simply now know that this is the case.

We appreciate your feedback about air conditioning and this is something we are constantly reviewing. Our main objective is to keep prices as low as we can for our clients. If we include facilities like air conditioning then we would have to increase the villa rentals across the board and this potentially penalises those who don't wish to use the air conditioning. Our website has always listed the optional extras but we have made it even clearer with the new website to ensure that we are as transparent as possible to avoid any misunderstanding when clients make their booking. We really appreciate your comments and we will certainly bear them in mind as we prepare for 2020.

I recently returned from a holiday with my family booked through The Villa Agency. Our experience was great from beginning to end. The location was ideal for us meaning that the main town was within walking distance from the villa. The villa itself was immaculate with everything we needed. They made sure that a car seat was provided in the taxi from and to the airport and a travel cot also. I was apprehensive about taking my baby away for the first time but there was no reason to be when we had such a relaxed environment. The doorways/access were ideal with a pram and our holiday was stress free. I couldn’t fault a thing about our trip, only that we wish we could have stayed longer!

My partner and I had a truly amazing experience staying at one of The Villa Agency's beautiful villas in Acacias. The villa was perfect for us and was in the most idyllic spot and location. Booking our holiday through The Villa Agency made everything so easy and stress free, as they organised it all and the follow up procedure was the best I have ever encountered. We have booked to go away to one of their amazing villas again in September. Happy holidays :-)

Our rental of a villa in Ferraguda was…disappointing
Our rental of a villa in Ferraguda was the last ever rental of that property before it was sold. Maintenance had been badly neglected. The most serious problem was a fitted wardrobe with sliding mirror doors. The doors fell out whenever opened or closed. Dangerous given their weight. We could not use the wardrobe at all. The shower in the master bedroom flooded the whole room with water escaping into the bedroom. The pool loungers were dirty. We spoke to the local manager who could not have cared less. Nor could the MD of the Villa Agency when I spoke to her on our return. We had several verygood experiences with the Villa Agency in the past but our last two rentals were poor. We will not use them again. The business feels as if it is in serious decline.
