Great product and such a nice gift. Have had one myself for over 5 years and when used as instructed it will last forever!
I was genuinely excited to find this company, as I have used wheat bags for years from different manuafactuers, and was pleased to find something made in the UK that looked of good quality.
I ordered a linen wheat bag and a velvet one.
They arrived in good time and I used them as per the instructions. (It should be noted that the instructions on the label attached to each product is differnt from the information on the box).
With under a month of use, one day the wheat bag melted in my microwave. It covered the inside in dark, sticky goo and meant I had to replace a part of the microwave (I know that the bag caused the issue because that particular part was new, very clean and ended up covered in wheat bag goo).
The charred smell filled the house for days and it left a sticky, crumpled mess of a product.
I stress again that I followed all the instructions correctly.
This was the velvet one. I let it cool down, took a photo and threw it away.
In addition, the linen one started to smell charred and then left yellow stains on my bedsheets.
I had rehydrated the bags in line with the safety advice.
I got in touch with the company to alert them to the issue and ask for a refund.
Instead of apologising and being horrified the product had almost started a fire, I was met with passive aggressive responses saying the company had made products for years. It was as though they disbelieved my complaint and photos.
They then said they wanted me to return the products for inspection. I asked them to send me a postage label and explained that the velvet one was not possible to return as it was in the bin!
They refused to send a postage label and still have not refunded me, despite this being in breach of the Consumer Rights Act.
I can't attach a photo to this but I have everything on file.
I was initially hoping they would say sorry, refund me and check their processes to make sure it didn't happen again and put someone else at risk. I didn't even ask for the cost of the replacement microwave part.
The attitude of the custmer services team was dreadful. I haven't experienced such bad service in a long time, and will go back to buying the silicone bags from Boots (my last one of those lasted over 10 years, compared with under a month from this company!)
TLDR: Don't buy from here!
I recently placed an order for 3 items, 2 wheat bottles (one as a gift) and a wheat bag. Delivery was quick and items were packaged nicely. I suffer with chronic lower back pain and the wheat bottle has been a godsend and really alleviates the pain. I’ve used it every day since getting it. I’ll be back to order more from this company as gifts. Thank you 🤩
Bought a pet bed wheat bag. The fleece cover is pretty but with no fastening so it gapes. The wheat bag is recommended to be heated for 2.5 mins in my 900 microwave. It’s warm enough when it comes out of the microwave but cools down pretty quickly. I’m disappointed and will return to the shop I bought from.
Prompt delivery and high quality product
Excellent customer service and rapid response to queries
