Really good way to learn about wine and why you like certain bottles. Also a good way to try some more unusual grapes

We started with the WIneList during Lockdown 1, and have thoroughly enjoyed every experience, some great tips, really lovely and different wines, fantastic zoom tasting lessons. We have had two small problems with delivery and both times they were resolved immediately, even though not directly WIneLists fault. Looking forward to more learning and more wines going forward!

I have had two boxes from the wine list now and one for my parents too! We absolutely loved it. The wine was delicious and wine I would never find myself. The tastecard and lessons that come with it are great too. It’s a nice way to make an evening in fun. Looking forward to my next one. Ps. Please make some educational videos, would be cool to learn more about the wines that way!

Always prompt delivery and responsive if there's an issue. Got a refund when once a product was damaged.

I have been a customer of The Wine List for the last six months. My knowledge has really improved and I am much more adventurous when choosing a bottle or ordering when out. Getting ready for Christmas, we just stocked up on a few of our favourite bottles from the online shop and a couple of the Rose Blake Christmas tote bags for presents. First time using the online shop and I will certainly be doing so again. Really quick delivery, I am now resisting the urge to open a bottle tonight!

Appalling experience with this company. I started a subscription and placed an order which stated it would arrive with next day delivery. After I still hadn’t received the order after one week, I contacted the company to chase this up. I was advised that it would be with me within a couple of days and that it had been collected by the courier from their third party fulfilment warehouse. After another week had passed, and multiple emails had been sent to the wine list, I contacted the courier myself, who had no history of the parcel in question. After 13 days, there was still no sign of my parcel leading me to cancel my order and ask for a refund to be processed. I have used multiple wine subscription services in the past and have never received such poor service. The use of third party fulfilment should not be an excuse for having little control over deliveries or not being able to trace them. I can’t even pass comment on the quality of the wine as I never actually received any!

I can't quite believe this exists.

I have always been a huge fan of wine. There is nothing I appreciate more than a delicious bottle of wine. It brings me so. much. joy.

But until recently, I knew nothing about it.

I would go into a fancy wine shop and ask for help. They would pick the most expensive bottles off the shelf and make me feel cheap if I wanted anything a little more affordable. They would throw words around like oak and chocolate and I would stand looking bemused, eventually paying them way more than I would have liked, only to get home and realise it wasn't to my taste at all.

After a few bad experiences like this I decided I had to try to figure this wine business out. I started looking into ways to learn more. But it was completely inaccessible - £500 for a course that I couldn't even study in my own time. It wasn't going to happen. Instead I decided to look for a subscription that would send me new wines each month so eventually I might have tried ALL the wines and know exactly which I liked and which I didn't.

Thankfully I found Wine List before that had to happen - and it combines everything I wanted. Trying new, delicious wines each month, all while adding to my wine knowledge. I am also obsessed with the newsletter which sends incredible recommendations for wines at great price points so once you've enjoyed the wines that came with your subscription, you're not just left to your own devices until the next box arrives.

The idea that I can then go into my local Tesco with my tasting card and pick a good bottle off the shelf is exactly what I love about Wine List. There's nothing pretentious about it at all. Just good quality wines that anyone can enjoy without a professional qualification. What could be better than that?!

The wine industry (or maybe just me) has been waiting for this.

SOOOOO much packaging the styrofoam filling + plastic wine bottle cover took up half of my bin. There are much better eco friendly solutions.

We ordered our first bottles in June. We love wine and drink red wine on a weekly basis, but have no real knowledge. We also wanted to learn more about white wines. The wines were delicious and the explanation great! We even tried it with friends as a little game, brilliant idea!

Such a brilliant service. Highly recommend for anyone who loves their wine and wants to try something new - such a treat when it arrives every month.

Absolutely love the wine they send. I forget it’s coming and then two bottles of wine turn up on my doorstep!
