Recently purchased herringbone flooring from falcon Rd store. Geoff and all the staff were extremely pleasant and very professional. John who was recommended by Geoff to fit flooring was superb, he was punctual, pleasant and extremely tidy. A great experience all round. Thanks

Visited the Wooden Floor Company last Saturday and needed a new floor in a hurry. Spoke with Geoff who was amazing. He explained the flooring options that were available and gave us a fantastic deal on a solid wood floor.

He also spoke with a fitter to ensure that we could get our floor laid within the very tight ten day timeframe we had.

Overall, we had a great experience and exceptional service and support from Geoff and I could not rate his service and the company highly enough. I will certainly be back in future for any additional flooring I need and would encourage friends and family to go there anytime they need a new floor.

Went in to the Netherfield branch in Nottingham and was given great advice from James the store manager, got a great deal on Herringbone flooring, would definitely recommend them.

Over a year ago we visited this store with my in-laws. It was dodgy and I advised everyone to stay away due to a unscrupulous staff member, even the buisnesses across the way are familiar to this.
That aside our neighbours have had some lovely floor fitted from here. They spoke highly of the staff (new) and advised us to go over. Originally we didn't want to and got a quote from Floor Giants down Lady bay. Unhappy and after feeling pressured we braced ourselves to go to The Wooden Floor Store in Nottingham just to mooch. Not to buy at all.

However as of right now I'm speechless at the service we have received. 100% customer focused from James. Reasons being -
We wasn't over sold on products we didn't need to use.
No pressure to buy, we was told to go home and check if the chosen floor would suit (our chosen one wouldn't suit the decor as pointed out so got a different one which was even cheaper from here and cheaper than our quote from Floor Giant).
Full explanation of the difference between certain types of flooring.
Beat the Floor Giant quote as mentioned and got the right product for coverage of our under floor heating.
We were listened to most of all and to top it off got a hot drink as well.

All this in the process of the store itself being dreadfully cold. James was on his own and had a couple of other people in. He apologised to us and others but didn't stress or rush anyone, he worked with us and got us our floor. Which is better than our neighbours!! Even after problems with delivery which was not the stores fault we received the relevant updates and built trust.

I'd say to anyone now if they are wanting flooring or even have questions go here.

I asked for a sample of the MDF stair nosing and received a prompt ,friendly email to say,sorry we don’t do that,I think the company is missing a trick here,I appreciate sampling etc does cost ,I understand this from working in retail for many years,however if an new

customers wanted sampling,I made it happen,the return in sales far exceeded the cost of the small sample.

Great customer service, i have had multiple question and all were answered promptly and with sense of trying to help out for my satisfaction. Product was delivers right on time and within less than a week. Product it self looks really good and high quality, i am very satisfied and will likely come back to purchase any other materials for my home in future.

We were in a bit of a panic trying to get a floor sorted, especially when we discovered that the flooring we’d previously bought from The Wooden Floor Company had been discontinued. From the outset, David went above and beyond to help us.

He made every effort to try and source the original floor for us, and when that wasn’t possible, he invited us back down and had taken the time to prepare a range of alternatives. He had floors ready from their warehouse, as well as other options that were as close as possible to what we were looking for, which made the decision so much easier.

Thanks to David’s patience, effort, and genuine care, we found a great solution and left as very happy customers. We couldn’t recommend him highly enough.
