Originally phoned customer service for more info on mattress topper I was considering. They were polite and helpful. Ordered topper and it arrived quickly and well packaged. Unfortunately deluxe topper was not suitable for me. It wasnt thick enough for my painful hips. Arranged a return within the 30 days even though I didnt have original packaging. We had kept the cotton bag for it and found another box. It squished down reasonably small. Returned it via post office and received refund in a few days. Topper was excellent for regulating temp in bed, just not thick enough and thicker one was quite a bit more expensive otherwise we may have ordered it.

Really fast delivery. Bought the quilt - does what it says on the tin as despite very hot weather slept amazingly well under this duvet. Very nice feel. Very impressed... would recommend.

Pretty terrible customer service
Pretty terrible customer service. I ordered a duvet two weeks ago and have received no updates. I called twice, once after 9 days and once after 11 days. Both times they said it will be dispatched on that day, yet nothing happened and they haven't tried to contact me at all. They have a notice on their website about a warehouse move, which might add 2-3 days to delivery, but not two weeks? I'm sceptical this is the real reason, so I wouldn't trust ordering anything from them again. I will be cancelling my order today.

You should never have had to contact us twice just to chase an order, only to be told on both occasions that it would be dispatched that day and then receive no further update. We fully appreciate how disappointing and frustrating this must have been, especially after waiting two weeks.
Our warehouse move has unfortunately caused significant disruption, but we completely accept that this does not excuse the level of delay or the poor communication you have experienced. We are particularly sorry that we have left you feeling that you cannot trust us to fulfil your order.

Very comfortable
Delivery was smooth. The men delivering were polite and friendly. They put the new mattress on the bed and took away the old one before I needed to leave for work. The new mattress has a lovely natural smell and is super comfortable to sleep on so far.

100% pure wool
I really appreciate that the mattress pad is 100% pure wool. It is the perfect thickness and fit, and is comfortable to sleep on. I am trying to only purchase and use products that are all natural and do not contain synthetic materials. I am very pleased with this mattress pad.

Beautifully-made product: just not for me.
I really wanted to like the product I purchased - and I have to say it was beautifully-made, though quite expensive - but it did absolutely nothing for me, so I invoked the promised right to return.
The initial reaction was to ask me (for the third time!) for details of what materials my other bedding is made from - I had already told them this! I felt I had to be quite assertive in order to get them to trigger the return.
There was also some confusion after I emailed them a copy of DPD’s confirmation that the item had been delivered back to them. When I had heard nothing from the Woolroom after a couple of days, I emailed them again, only to get a reply asking for proof of postage and tracking details - which they had already had.
Update: I received a very conciliatory reply to my original Trustpilot review, so I have edited it. I hope that this means the Woolroom has sorted out what seems to have been a major glitch in their communications process.

Once DPD had confirmed delivery, you should not have been asked again for tracking information that was already available, and we completely appreciate how frustrating it must have been to feel that you were having to chase us at every stage of the process.
We’re also sorry that, despite the product appearing well-made, the item itself did not deliver the benefits you were hoping for. We understand that our products represent a significant investment, which makes a difficult returns experience even more disappointing.

High quality, shrinks a lot
The mattress pad is very breathable and high quality, great for the summer. Because of dust mite allergy I have to wash every week, and since they have to air dry I had to buy two. They shrink a LOT even if washed according to instructions. Order up a size if you can.

I’m still waiting for the delivery of my mattress so I can’t tell if it’s great or not. This goes for the duvet, mattress topper and pillows too as although I have received them I can’t test them until the mattress arrives!
