Prejudice and Incompetent
This credit card company is wholly unprofessional, incompetent and prejudicial. They treat legitimate citizens like criminals and are lazy about rectifying their own mistakes. I was issued a credit card - with a credit limit via a credit reference agency online. Thimbl/Vanquis decided that they needed to check my identity and address AFTER the fact and locked me out of my account. I was abroad and left extremely vulnerable as I was relying on the funds whilst away. THEN - after paying 2/3 of the balance, I was locked out AGAIN, with then citing ‘random audit checks.’ ‘Random’ checks within weeks? I think not. DO NOT apply for a Thimbl/Vanquis credit card as they will use what minuscule power they have to make your life an absolute misery - especially if you are a law abiding, legitimate, EMPLOYED citizen of this country. Disgusting and abominable experience.

worst experience of my life.
i applied on the 2nd of july, approved and given a credit limit, i was sent my card and pin and was unable to access my account.
Upon calling i was told to send address and id documents which they received on the 8th of july.
It is now the 18th of july and after repeated calls i was told i must still wait.
Worst experience i have ever had.
I have medical expenses due to a cancer diagnosis and this is how i have been treated.

Declined me and offered loan. Then passed on to some outfit that wanted to charge 19.99 per month for credit file thing. Why would I want that ? Don't reply with the same drivel you've given other 1*reviewers.

Worst card experience I have ever had
Worst card experience I have ever had.
Offered a balance transfer card through clear score.
Once I had transferred a balance despite paying the new balance I was unable to transfer another balance. What is the point of the card??
I tried to close the account which then took 2 months and was then told it would be another 50 days before they would report it to the credit agencies.
Awful experience will never use Vanquis or Thimbl again.

New customer- can’t verify my card - customer service shocking, no solution. App won’t register my telephone number or card. Thought it was a scam as the service is so poor. I am close to cutting up the card and forgetting it.
