I am extremely happy with the dress I bought, it is beautiful, a lovely vibrant print, good quality material, all at a reasonable. It is also supporting others in employment and education, a win win situation. Although I waited a while for it to arrive, the company kept me updated and once shipped, it arrived within days. I have immediately ordered a second dress from This is Unfolded and there will be more to come.

My concerns (after receiving what now appear to be scam emails) were thoroughly investigated immediately after receiving my query and reassurance / answers were given within a very short time frame - late on a Friday evening!

I loved the look of the dress and the ethics of the company but wasn't sure what the quality would be like. I have to say it exceeded my expectations! The fabric is really beautiful and the finish really is top quality. I was informed all the way through of the progress of the cutting, making up and quality control as well as expected delivery. I've never had that before and was really impressed! This is a top company and I love my dress!!

My second order arrived today. The ordering process is easy and the communication afterwards is great. They are clear about where the order is and when it will be ready. The quality of the dresses is high, both fit very well and look stylish- plus they have pockets! Then there are the benefits of ordering from a company that really prioritises sustainability and improving lives. I will order more son.

I found unfolded on Facebook I was amazed at what they do there clothes are amazing the style are lovely the materials are soft comfortable and fit well , I ordered one of the maddie dresses it’s so nice and very flattering.

Was a little wary at first - particularly waiting for the first dress - but have always been complimented when wearing. Great quality, sizes accurate.

Excellent service, beautiful, flattering styles, superb quality of clothes and lovely customer service. And pockets!!!! The only downside is that you have to wait but the updates were frequent and the dresses were so worth waiting for. I’ve had more compliments for my Unfolded dresses than the rest of my clothes put together!
I love their ethos and their efforts to be good to the environment and support those less fortunate than us. Highly recommended, for the patient shopper!

A little disappointed in my dress. It looks so pretty but the quality isn’t worth the money you pay in my opinion. The stitching isn’t straight at the hem, one of the puffy shoulders is slightly higher than the other which looks odd when worn and the elasticated part at the bust bunches outward weirdly making it look like a lump. For the price and the fact you have to wait SO LONG for the dress, I won’t be ordering again.

I am so please with my Maddie dress. It's flattering, well made and very pretty! It's also so gratifying to know that the community where it was made, and the people who made it are benefitting too. Love love love!!

It's disappointing to see so many reviews on here commenting on the delivery time or the returns process when these are core aspects of the Unfolded business model and widely advertised throughout. I've been ordering for years and obviously not everything has fitted/suited me - anything that hasn't I've managed to either sell on or I've eventually donated. It's not unusual these days for brands to not pay for your returns, a lot of big brands don't do this either, and personally I'd rather donate an item then send it back to be consigned to landfill. I love the fact that we get to help design each collection. For example, I asked ages ago if the oversized shirts could have tabs added to the sleeves to keep them rolled up and this year's iteration does. Whenever I've emailed to ask questions I've always had speedy replies, and I think people ought to try and bear in mind that this is a small and evolving business that's adapting and learning as it goes along - obviously mistakes are made but they will always try to resolve them for you. These are the only non-see through white t-shirts I've ever found and the dresses are beautifully made and very easy to wear. It's lovely to see a range of heights and dress sizes in the models as well. And they almost always have pockets!

Ordered 17th Dec, 12cweeks later apparently its now waiting to go through customs and be put onto a flight. A long time to wait, even if you do get updates. I just hope it fits! Will not be ordering again!

The item that you order are made so there is very little wastage. The company keep sending regular updates as to the stage of your order. My dress Rhiona was beautiful, good fit lovely fabric and even had pockets 😊 the whole process took about 4 weeks.

My first Unfolded dress arrived today. It's been 6 weeks, but this is sustainable fashion and that is exactly when I was expecting it. The fit is flattering and the quality is great for the price. I'm very happy with it. I'm size 14 and 5ft 2 so ordered short, which is perfect. Very much looking forward to the second one in my order arriving soon. It feels good to be supporting this business, too.

I’ve had my Daisie dress for a few weeks now, and words can’t express how much I love it. So easy to wear and wash and, strangely for denim, isn’t a pain to iron. I’ve had so much wear out of this dress already. I was dubious size wise buying online, but the fit is perfect and the colour isn’t fading in the wash.

Honestly this dress is soooo beautiful!! The packaging says ‘good things come to those who wait’ and that is one hundred percent accurate in this case. The material and standard of construction is excellent. It feels lovely and the pockets are a great addition. The time from order to delivery was accurate and the company kept me informed as to progress throughout. I wish I could meet the person(s) who made the dress to thank them personally!

Dress arrived today after only 2 weeks waiting. Expected it to be longer. Absolutely delighted with it. Very well made & beautiful fabric. Will definitely be back for another. Thanks unfolded.

I really like the ethics of the company and have bought some lovely dresses, which are very good quality. The customer service is also good but the returns policy is awkward which puts me off buying more as I've bought a few items that didn't fit well, despite buying the same size as other items that did fit. The recommended methods of listing the item for re-sale on the Facebook group or listing for exchange do not work well in my experience. I've now stuck to buying the same dress in different patterns as I know it fits well so I don't have to worry about returns.
