Shady platform

TL;DR: ThreadBeast charges up front, rarely delivers the brands you pick, swapping just gives you more unwanted items, and customer service can be hostile and contradictory. Shady platform — avoid if you care about actually getting what you want.

I was excited to try ThreadBeast to get some new clothes in the brands I like, but the experience was extremely disappointing. Even though I selected specific brands during setup, my curation included none of them. Most of the clothes didn’t match my style at all. There were ways to swap, but it would only replace items with more options I didn’t want.
When I called customer service for a refund, I was told they have a no-refund policy — even though I hadn’t received anything I liked. They explained that some brands aren’t always in stock, which seems like a poor excuse for charging customers up front for items they can’t guarantee. The process felt shady and misleading.
During the call, the representative initially said a refund wasn’t possible. After I explained my charge was still pending with my bank, she checked with a supervisor and said they could refund me minus $20, citing “banking politics.” When I pushed back, she became hostile, told me my account would be flagged, and said I was no longer welcome on the platform. Shortly after, I received an email confirming a full refund within 3–6 days, which contradicted what she told me on the phone.
Buyer beware: You must pay up front without seeing what you’ll get. Stock limitations mean you likely won’t get the brands you select. Overall, this feels misleading and unprofessional.

The worst company i have ever done…

The worst company i have ever done business with. They wont refund your money and they will try to give you the run around to not cancel. If youndontlike the box youre stuck with it no money back. Stay away terrible company.

They kept sending boxes of the same…

They kept sending boxes of the same items pretty much so I cancelled. They continue to reach out and sent another box. I wouldn’t do it as the items are always the same and a bit underwhelming. I did stitch fix and was pleasantly surprised on the first box. Just my opinion best of luck

Looked into this service and did not…

Looked into this service and did not like the selection they offered me. I had already given my card info, when i tried cancelling the order they refused. Would not even offer me a return. Had to call my credit card company and dispute the charge.

I tried it out and the site is awful

I tried it out and the site is awful. Gives trash clothes and you have to fight tooth and nail for a refund. I tried to tell them to not ship to save both our times and they said no so I had to threaten other methods.

Awful clothes awful customer service

Their customer service is garbage. It’s like they intentionally lock you in so you can’t cancel and get a refund. Even if you pick your brands they will not give you those. They will send out pure junk that has nothing to do with was was picked. The clothes looks like from the 2010 era it seems like old junk. It’s better to go shopping for your own close. Beware of this crooked company.

System Error

Terrible service i purchased the buy 3 get 3 promo for Black Friday and the system had an error and they refunded me. I called to ask what happened and they said the system stacked discounts and had an error. When i asked if it can be fixed and my promo purchase be honored they said no the promo is gone we cant do anything. So their system messed up and they couldn’t do anything for me. I would give zero stars if i could.

Total scam

Total scam. Worst part I really wanted to try this. I they show great brands thinking you might actually be sent some cool stuff. Anyways I went straight for the baller box 290.00 my huge mistake. But you pay before really seeing the box or what might come with it. Anyways all the options was complete trash. And the exchange option before the box comes does not help because it’s just two other cheap trash items. I emailed them right away stating I would just like a refund and to cancel and not bother shipping. They said they already started personally styling my box right away and could not not ship it because it was so catered to me. Complete bs. Just make a go fund me if you want to rob people in hopes of reviving a decent product. If you are thinking of trying this out I urge you do not for any reason. It would be nice to see what you are getting before you take 290.00 from someone and honestly out of the 11 items if I liked maybe 6 of them I’d be okay with the loss. But not a single item and you took my money is crazy. I would love to meet your ceo one day. But I probably won’t be able to reach him until he is in jail for this scam and then I probably will not want to call collect.

Prevent You From Cancelling & Misreport Transactions

Tried to cancel after using it once through Capital One offers. Thought the clothes were okay, but didn't want to continue. Tried to cancel and they forced me to pay for a second box even though it hadn't shipped stating it was part of their cancelation policy.

On top of that, they reported that my purchase didn't meet terms even when it did and I have screen recordings of my purchase. So they had Capital One reverse my offer reward. Will be complaining to C1 and filing a FTC compliant.

Just a horrible company

Just a horrible company. Will try to scam you over at every turn. Hard to cancel, they will claw back promotional discounts, try to charge you after you cancel, just every dirty trick in the book. Do not get involved with this company.

Will not respond to your emails

Will not respond to your emails. You have to call them and its very difficult to get a hold of them and they don't document things or their process well and you are left without the necessary gauntlet that documentation provides.
Also they don't match your fit as well as they could given all the options to make it so.

Cancellation/subscription policy

Cancellation/subscription policy, customer experience.

Clearly stated on SEVERAL occasions I wanted to cancel my subscription- BEFORE the first box arrived. Was told by an associate, “Wait for first box to come- then cancel”. Apparently, “Since it’s the first box, it can mess with the shipping and I may not receive it”. First red flag. Secondly, I got a new debit card for a separate reason. Received multiple e-mails about declined payment. Reps contacted me via e-mail for my card info and that “I owe $150”. “After payment is successful and posted”, then they would go ahead and cancel my subscription. At this time, numerous e-mails requesting cancellation, no product or service received, no label created for shipping. Nothing. Never authorized the transaction, never did they value customer feedback and cancel my subscription. “Please remove my subscription” must have been said 10 times to 10 different people. On top of all this, I call ThreadBeast after $150 was basically stolen from my bank. “We cannot refund the box once received-nor stop from shipping.” So, no cancellation after multiple requests, non approved transaction after multiple attempts, told I owe when no product or service had been delivered/received, and an unauthorized transaction to my account. Very unprofessional business practice and customer first perspective.

Refused to give refund even before anything shipped

The offerings were weak, but more importantly a>Their website glitched and wouldn't let me make changes to my first box and b>I misunderstood their initial offer and asked to cancel before they had shipped anything, and they refused a refund. Who does that? That is all you need to know about this company. Basically a money grab with little value.

The styles are great

The styles are great. I get to preview my box before I get it and switch out items i dont like for something I like! The box is affordable with good quality products.
