I was given my time on the skid pan as a present by a friend. It was a miserable wet afternoon. She and I are both in our late 70’s were together in the cars. We had a really great experience. Learning a lot about how to control the two cars, a Porsche Carrera and a Mini Cooper. The Porsche was much more fun and easier to drive. We took it in turns to go round the skid pan. My only thought was we would have felt less dizzy if we had been allowed to go around the other way. Our instructor was very good and kept in contact with us by radio. It was both frightening and enjoyable, now I feel much more comfortable about driving in wet and icy conditions. I would recommend the Virgin experience to anyone who wants to improve their driving skills.

Anyone thinking of doing this book it you wouldn’t regret it. Wanted to do this a long time and had so much fun and instructor was amazing would recommend to anyone

Amazing time at Thrixton, loved the skid pan and incredible experience on 3 laps with Tiff Needle. 70mph sideways in the chicane and 130 on the straight!! Wow!
