Tickets Japan is an online ticketing and travel-tech platform built for international tourists visiting Japan. Many of the country’s most sought-after attractions sell tickets through domestic-only systems, with Japanese-language checkouts, SMS verification codes sent to Japanese phone numbers, and payment options limited to local cards. Tickets Japan removes these barriers so travelers can book from anywhere in the world. Customers choose up to five preferred dates and entry times, then pay with their own international card in English, French, Spanish, Simplified or Traditional Chinese, or Japanese. No Japanese phone number or address is needed, and verification goes to the customer’s own email. The Tickets Japan team then handles release day, queuing and securing tickets on the customer’s behalf, and emails them once confirmed. If none of the requested dates can be secured, customers are refunded, minus a small processing fee and payment processor costs. The service currently focuses on the Ghibli Museum in Mitaka, Tokyo, where timed-entry tickets are released in advance and sell out quickly. Pricing is transparent, with a $2 processing fee included in every paid ticket. More of Japan’s premier attractions will be added one at a time, each with the same all-inclusive, hassle-free service.
