Ticket Tailor is a software platform that helps event organisers manage their events. Tickets for events listed on our platform are bought directly from the organiser. Ticket Tailor never sees or touches ticket buyer money and can't issue or affect refunds.
If you need help with your ticket purchase, please reach out to the event organisers directly (their contact details will be in the original ticket email).

Good afternoon,
Cabaret Noir in Helix in Dublin was cancelled - October 2024.
Could you advise when the money will be returned to my account?
I am sending emails every week and no respond
I paid for the event on ticket tailor web site and if this is a fraud you should hold all payment to the organiser and give it back to people that was cheated using the web site. Unfortunately the event organiser do not respond to any of my message since October

I'm afraid you've come through to the wrong place. We are a software provider that allows event organisers to sell tickets directly to their ticket buyers.
As you bought your tickets from the event organiser directly they are the best people to contact. You can find a contact form at the bottom of the event booking form (where you originally booked the tickets) which will send an email directly to the event organiser. Alternatively you may be able to find contact details on the event organisers website or Facebook page if they have one.

Great for PTA
I had looked into a lot of different ticketing options for our small PTA, and they had the best rates by far. Also, their website is so easy to use! We have had great feedback from parents and we are very happy with the level of service, how fast it was to get started, and just how simple it is to create events. Would highly recommend for PTA use.

Best ticketing platform for small businesses and the planet
I made the switch from Eventbrite to Ticket Tailor for selling tickets for my forest bathing walks (Soft Earth Forest Therapy), and I'm so glad I did. Not only is Ticket Tailor B Corp certified, they donate a portion of each ticket sold to one of their climate charity partners. Their services are seamless and easy to use, their support is fast, kind, and helpful, and I feel really good knowing that a portion of the fees I pay for are supporting an awesome business doing important work for small entrepreneurs like me, as well as our planet.

Retaining credit card information
I used Ticket Tailor about a year ago. When I used it recently, I found that they had kept my card details from before, without asking my permission. I emailed Ticket Tailor asking them to remove my CC details from their database. They have not replied.

When you use Ticket Tailor to sell tickets for your events, you will be prompted to add a card to your account to pay our fees. This is retained on your account to charge your ticketing fees. However, you can amend your payment details at any time.
To do this, head to the 'Box office settings' section of your dashboard, choose 'Billing' from the side menu, then under 'Payment details' click the button marked 'Update card details'.
I'd love to check out your email request - as we have a round-the-clock team it's very unusual that any email would be missed, but there is a chance it's been forwarded to our privacy team and awaits a reply within our UK office hours.
So I can double-check, could you please email privacy@tickettailor.com again?

The platform is extremely expensive…
The platform is extremely expensive with missing important functionality, like downloading invoices in a bulk. I have been using this platform for a few months for a few thousands of tickets and I'm now moving to another platform with a cheaper price and all the basic functionality.

I'm also surprised that you're not happy with our pricing. As a platform with simple, low flat fees per ticket, we're typically one of the best value platforms you can find.

Poor customer service
I was having problems editing my event, so tried online chat.
They say their response time is normally under three minutes - and yet I waited almost 1.5 hours!
When they finally responded, the excuse was 'no one was covering'. Well duh!
I am wondering why I am paying them 10% of my takings...

We usually have replies under three minutes, but over the summer holiday period, we have had some occasions where you may have had to wait a bit longer, due to no one being available.
We are currently looking into ways to cover team holidays a bit better, so I'm sure you won't be waiting for us to reply in the future!
You mentioned that you're paying 10% of your ticket prices in fees. This sounds high, as our fees are on a per-ticket basis, rather than commission. Please reach out to us to check you're paying the best price, as we have pre-paid options and low ticket price ticket discounts which may work out more cost-effectively for your events.
