Haven’t received product and disappointing customer service
I placed an order (No. 1188) on 4th April and, as of 16th May, still haven’t received anything.
On 7th April, I was given a Yodel tracking number suggesting the parcel had been dispatched. However, Yodel could not recognise or track the parcel at all.
I emailed tilly on 21st April but received no response. I then used the website’s online chat function around 26th April and received the following reply on 27th April:
“Hi, apologies for the delay in replying, we were at a show this weekend. We can’t get tracking on this number, we will have to contact Yodel tomorrow and let you know. Speak soon.”
Unfortunately, no update ever followed. I emailed again on 2nd May and still received no response. I later tried the online chat function once more (I can’t remember the exact date), again with no response. Today, I found that the website itself has expired.
I really regret placing this order — I lost my money, received no product, and experienced extremely poor customer service throughout.

Firstly, I want to sincerely apologise for the experience you’ve had with your order and for the lack of communication from us. You are absolutely right to feel disappointed, and we completely understand your frustration.
We’ve looked into this today and can see that there was both a billing address and a separate shipping address attached to the order, which may have contributed to the delivery issue. Unfortunately, we still cannot see exactly what happened to the original parcel once it left us, and we also haven’t received any phone calls or updates from the courier regarding a problem with the delivery.
We are now putting a full investigation into this with the courier, although this can take a little time while they review the tracking and delivery information. Because of this, we won’t be able to resend the order today, but please rest assured we are actively working to resolve this for you as quickly as possible and will keep you updated throughout.
As a small business ourselves, we genuinely feel the impact of situations like this too, so please know we would never ignore or dismiss a customer issue. We truly care about making things right and want our customers, owners, and of course their dogs, to be happy with both our products and our service.
Unfortunately, we have been in the middle of show season and have fallen behind on some customer service enquiries recently, but that is not an excuse and certainly not the standard we want for our customers.
As a small gesture of apology, once this has been resolved we’ll also include an extra little product in your parcel for you.
Again, we are very sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment caused, and we truly appreciate your patience while we investigate this further.

I have never been so disgusted with a company!
I spoke to this company at Crufts this year as my friends wanted some advice on what she could use on her friends Yorkshire Terrier as it had bad skin. She explained that the Terrier no longer went to groomers as she was too old and was bathed at home and we were hit with the reply “yes well groomers don't know what they use on the dogs and all they use is chemicals” little did he know that he was speaking to 2 very experienced groomers who actually had many years of knowledge about skin care. We pay thousands of pounds for our training and we are constantly learning about animal welfare when i come to skin care.
How dare you work with groomers or so your website says and then pull that phrase out at the worlds biggest dog show who where a lot of the people that attend are dog groomers.
We groomers use all natural products, that are animal and environmentally friendly and we are constantly learning about our products.
If i was a groomer working with this company i would drop them immediately as they do not appreciate what you do and how hard you work!

From your review it appears this relates to a conversation at Crufts rather than a direct experience using our products. At Crufts we speak to hundreds of people across the week, including many experienced groomers, and we have enormous respect for the skill, training and dedication involved in professional grooming.
Many shampoos rely on synthetic detergents to create liquid formulations, whereas Tilly & Family has chosen a natural formulation designed to be gentle on sensitive skin.
Our products are currently used by professional groomers and stocked by veterinary clinics across the UK who value natural, effective grooming solutions.
It would never be our intention to undermine the knowledge or professionalism of groomers, and we value the expertise they bring to animal care.
As no contact details have been provided and the review has been posted anonymously, we have not had the opportunity to address any concerns directly. If you would like to contact us, we would genuinely welcome the opportunity to discuss this further and clear up any misunderstanding.
Excellent soap
I bought the rose and vanilla allergy relief soap at crufts in 2025. I have bathed my 2 chihuahuas with it for a year. Although I still have half of the bar left, I purchased 2 more bars at crufts 2026 as the soap cleaned my dogs really well, produced a nice lather and there was no allergic response from my sensitive chi. I highly recommend this product.

Best dog shampoo
I am an owner of two cockapoo’s, both needing regular washing. I recently tried the ‘vanilla dog shampoo’ I was blown away by the shampoo. It smelt lovely not perfuming and chemically. The shampoo came in a block adding a bit of water and lathered into a lovely foam which went on evenly. The soap was easy to wash out unlike many other brands which takes quite a bit rinsing to ensure it is fully out of their coats. My dogs felt clean and fresh afterwards. A week later I can still smell a subtle scent which is still fresh.
I will totally be buying again.

Really lovely shampoo
Really lovely shampoo, my dogs coat was so clean and such a lovely smell. The exfoliating glove made is so much easier to get right into the coat for a good clean. I am also a dog groomer so think i will be looking at using it.

“My Favourite Soap”-Eddie
💚My favourite soap from @tilly.family. It always makes my coat super soft and fluffy. Since I have been using it my coat is healthier and all round super nice. I am not as itchy and I love the smell. @tilly.family soap is 100% natural and is brilliant for all types of skin and coats on dogs. I bought the 100g in recent flash sale to try for my 2 cockapoos who are keen adventurers! They are not a fan of bath time normally but they much preferred the exfoliating glove experience with the amazing lather produced from this soap bar. I love this natural product & both dogs were smelling gorgeous for days after & fur so soft. Today the soap bar was further tested after my youngest dog rolled in 💩 & the results were amazing & her white markings were back in no time along with the soap bar smell!

As an International Certified Master Groomer I can highly recommend this product
As a professional dog groomer, I’ve tried more products than I care to count—but the Tilly and Company lavender and charcoal soap bar has honestly earned a permanent spot in my kit.
I first used it on a spaniel with those classic greasy ears that collect dinner, dust and everything else in sight. Paired with the exfoliating glove, this soap lifts out all the grime effortlessly, especially from long ears that have been trailing through spaghetti bolognese or the garden. It’s gentle on the skin but weirdly powerful on dirt—like it knows what needs to stay and what needs to go. Love that.
The scent is perfect—fresh and clean without being overpowering. I now use it on any dog that comes in with gunky ears or a questionable lifestyle. It lathers well, rinses out easily (even on double-coated dogs), and leaves the coat looking brilliant without any residue.
My top tip? Every dog owner, dog walker, or general fox-poo magnet should keep one of these in the car with a bottle of water. It’s an absolute lifesaver when you’re out and about and need to deal with something unspeakable before your entire car smells like Eau de Death.
Highly recommend this bar—it’s made my life easier, and the dogs smell better for it.

The large blocks of soap are easy to handle much better than using bottles of dog shampoo or tubes.
I have a very woolly large dog and she now is beautiful and clean…. until she jumped into a water trough this morning!
We have had no itching or scratching I made sure she was rinsed really well, she does suffer with hot itchy skin but no more thanks to Tilly and family doggie soap.
Lastly, the gloves which are provided do a super extra clean job at removing the build up of oils in her woolly coat.
