Really upsetting experience

Really upsetting experience, having bought it for my partner for their birthday, the first booked date was cancelled and it was difficult to hear back from Alex to rebook, was relieved when he sent a date (today 27th sept) we showed up, prepared at the meeting time and no one was there, he did not answer the phone and eventually text back to say the season is over, we should have got a text or email. We certainly got neither. A suggestion to extend the voucher until next year was given in the text however I have not heard back since and calls are unanswered and messages not delivered.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. I had to message them after showing up at the meeting point, only to be told the event was canceled — with a dismissive reply: “Didn’t you get the news?” No prior notice, no effort to inform. I gave it another try, booked again, and messaged them the day before to confirm. On the day of the event, it was canceled again. When I asked why this keeps happening, I was told: “You can cancel if you want.” Completely unprofessional. Poor communication, no accountability, and absolutely no respect for people’s time. This kind of behavior is unacceptable. I strongly advise others to stay away.

Terrible customer service

Bought 2 tickets for a friend and i but circumstances changed and although website stated the company would refund the booking, when i informed Alex i had to cancel, in the following days he changed the website refund policy and then informed me that i would not be receiving a refund...
Unable to ring mobile number listed on time-off.ie, website portobelloadventure.ie seems to be disabled by administrator and the only contact is through whatsapp messaging or email...
overall i would say its a very bad customer service experience.
i wouldnt give any star rating only for the fact that 1 star is the minimum you can rate.
