I have used Tiny Earth Toys since they began. They started out as a subscription based toy rental company of high quality wooden toys at a more than reasonable price. They then had to change to toy sales during this very difficult market. I bought toys then to give as gifts since I don’t have grandkids of my own. Tiny Earth now is onto a new adventure of building Tiny Spaces. Looking forward to seeing them progress in this new endeavor . Excellent customer service, quick responses and quality. Couldn’t ask for more from this small startup.

The rental subscription was an amazing resource! I’m looking forward to staying involved in some way to make toys sustainable and non toxic. Thanks for everything!

I started my toy subscription two months ago for my 9 month old. He got 5 toys, of those he really enjoyed two. I was looking forward to the next set of toys when I got the email that tiny earth is stopping the rentals and only selling toys now. I don’t know why they would have allowed people to continue signing up for rentals when they clearly knew they were stopping them. It was not worth the high cost of rental at all and now I don’t trust this company. They clearly don’t care about their customers.

The company apparently is changing its policy 1 month into a subscription agreement and trying to auto-enroll its customers into a different financial arrangement. I’ve received no human response after 3 courteous emails requesting an itemized statement and confirmation of cancellation of all services. This could be fraudulent🤷‍♀️💀

We considered a popular toy purchase subscription service. However, just the thought of storing and/or reselling all the expensive toys when they were eventually outgrown -- photographing, posting, pricing, storing them until I had a buyer, and then arranging and making the exchange -- ugh, it just made me tired. We are SO GLAD we chose Tiny Earth instead. As soon as the novelty of one box of (totally customized by US) toys wears off, another one is at the door. The cost per toy for a 2-month rental is around $15. That's less than what I'd lose in depreciation if I bought them and it's so much more convenient.

Tiny Earth Toys has changed our family's life with respect to play. I truly can't recommend this company enough and am so so glad I came across it.

Our kids love the age-appropriate variety of toys they each receive. We only keep a small number of toys available for them (for easy clean-up) which has actually helped our kids have more interest in what is available rather than feeling overwhelmed by shelves or boxes stuffed full of disorganized toy sets. And when the kids start to show disinterest with what we have, it is time for a toy exchange. We as parents don't have to worry about what to do with toys they have outgrown, and don't have to worry about spending hundreds on new, age-appropriate, Montessori-style (aka expensive!) toys every few months.

Our kids do attend a Montessori child-care facility which uses meaningful and natural/quality toys for teaching specific skills. Tiny Earth toys are equally educational and provide a seamless transition between school and home play.

The company and team are great as well. We asked for a subscription downgrade after a couple months, and received kind and quick customer support. No questions asked about why or pushing to keep our current subscription.

Easy to order, great choice in age appropriate toys and looks like sending back will be very simple. Best of all it’s a sustainable alternative to heaps of plastic toys that have a short shelf life!

I absolutely love the toys and concept. Very easy to pick out perfectly tailored toys for my LO. I only took a star off because the toys/membership aren’t showing up on my account and I notified the company but haven’t heard back. Once that gets squared away I will happily keep renting toys to keep my LO engaged and my house clutter free.

We LOVE Tiny Earth Toys! I’ve been doing toy rotation for years but finding toys on sale and then storing them was such a hassle. I love how easy it is to rent the toys and send them back! I think 2mos is the perfect amount of time for my kids to thoroughly enjoy the toys, and then they are ready for the next shipment.

We have loved our first month. The toys keep my 12 month old’s attention and his older sisters have even loved playing with him with his toys. Fun for all of us with him. And the toys are SO well made. We can’t wait for the toy box!

Love the idea of toy rental. It keeps our activities fresh while keeping our house minimal.

I simply love this. We were already rotating toys, I wish I had thought of a rental sooner! It’s lovely that follow up emails are sent to get the most out of the Montessori method. The toys have been a hit too! We got a mix for our 16 month old and almost four year old… both have been thoroughly engaged. We’re looking forward to our next rental!

We love Tiny Earth Toys. I honestly cannot imagine our home without it! My son engages with the toys that we receive thoughtfully & with focus & joy! And we feel really, really good about reducing waste while also reducing clutter in our home. It's the perfect service for families <3

Toys are clean, fun, developmentally-appropriate and simple so that my daughter can be imaginative! I love how we can still bring fun toys into the house, but not worry about increasing our level of clutter because we will swap them out for different ones in a couple of months. I also love of that these toys are environmentally-friendly and that renting them is helping us reduce waste!
