Premium Price, Economy Durability
I purchased a Titleist Tour sta dry premium bag new for £350, expecting the durability synonymous with the "Tour" label. Unfortunately, the build quality has proven to be below standard. The stitching securing the umbrella pocket has begun to disintegrate and separate from the main chassis of the bag.
This is not a high-stress area of the bag, nor has it been subjected to misuse. It appears to be a clear material or manufacturing flaw. Upon contacting Titleist to rectify the situation, I was informed that the bag is "too old" to warrant support.
For a dedicated golfer, a bag is an investment. A £350 investment should yield more than 24 months of service. As a result of this premature failure and the brand's refusal to stand behind their product, I will be transitioning to a different manufacturer for my future equipment needs.
