I found this company impossible to deal with. They don’t list a telephone number on their website, but another supplier kindly gave me one. A pleasant lady answered the call, but unfortunately she directed me to email them, explaining that they don’t discuss quotations or sales over the phone.

I emailed them as requested, but received no reply. I sent a further three emails, all of which were ignored.

My enquiry related to the poor‑quality Titon‑branded friction stays fitted to windows on a new housing project near me. It’s clear these hinges are going to cause problems for householders, so keeping a stock of replacements would have been ideal. However, since we now know how Titon operates, my customers have accepted an alternative brand of hinge for replacements. I think that’s a wise choice.

Sales brochure is unclear: white products pictured on a white background, description not explicit. Sales staff not sure about the products they make or market. Sales staff don't call back when promised. Sales office seems to close well ahead of the advertised opening times. I ended up with the exact opposite of what I enquired about, after 2 phone calls.
