I’ve been with them 10 years

I’ve been with them 10 years. They give you no discount for being a loyal customer. Their purported 5G they try to sell you on is slower than the 4G they used to have. And all the places I go in my day, which is the same every day, my cell service is weaker than it was in the past. Their towers are always going down or not being able to handle the load of customers they have on the network so your 5G is more like 2G in some areas. In fact, it’s a welcome respite when I go overseas because then I know I’m guaranteed, even in a Third World country to have two to three G service which is sometimes better than when I get here with them.

T-Mobile is a scam

It is so bad that they have almost $1,000 of mine and there is no way to get it back, a Tmobile agent approached my business and tried to sell me equipment and internet for my business, lying to me because they do not have the capacity to cover business needs, I have not received any equipment, the package was sent by UPS and by instructions from customer services they told me to return it to the same person who brought it, so I did, they charged my card first $86 dollars and then I received a bill and they charged my card for $794. Right now I will have to seek legal advice to get my money back. I have gone to the store 4 times and have spoken with customer service several times and they only give promises that they will refund the money, I have been 5 weeks and nothing, TMOBILE is a big scam, I recommend not doing any type of business with this company.

15 year T-Mobile customer

15 year T-Mobile customer - I bought a new Galaxy S-25 with a promotion for $500 trade-in for my old phone (Galaxy S-21) for a 23.56 credit on my bill for 24 months)... it was only 3 years old and in perfect condition - I just could not get security updates for it anymore (which is how they force you to buy a new phone every 3 years regardless how well your old phone is working)... I sent in the old phone after I received my new phone in the mail and received the first two months credit on my next two bills - and then I got a text saying "the monthly credit for your phone has ended because the promo ended or your eligibility status changed".
HUH ?!?
I followed all the rules and sent in my old phone on time (had the receipt from UPS) and they're now saying they aren't going to pay me the $455 they still owe me...
so I called T-Mobile, and after checking into the situation for me the representative told me that my old phone was damaged when they received it... I told her that phone was in perfect condition when I sent it in and this is a total scam because once I send it in I can't prove it was in perfect condition... I told her I would see them in small claims court and I would be canceling my account - at which point she told me to hold on and she put me on hold to check into it further... after 15 minutes on hold she came back and told me they had received it but the T-Mobile warehouse never scanned it in - and they would give me a lump-sum immediate $250 credit... I told her the promotion was for $500, and i had followed all the rules for the promotion, and you have already admitted to me it was T-Mobile's fault for not 'scanning in the phone' when they received it - and I would see them in court if I did not get the whole $500... she put me on hold to talk to her supervisor and came back 10 minutes later and said the best we can do is give you a lump-sum $350 credit on your bill...
I told her I was looking forward to seeing her in court - and she told me to wait while she talked to her supervisor again... 5 minutes later she came back and said they would give me the whole $500 credit...
did Trump buy T-Mobile - or is this the backwash from the new CEO who must be a Trump-zombie ?
this NEVER would have happened with the prior CEO - John Legere...

BEWARE T-Mobile promotions - they are as scummy as Verizon now that they're big-time... the new CEO must have come from Verizon...

20+ year customer dissatisfied

On my first call, I was instructed to visit a store to pick up the phone I had requested. That trip turned out to be a complete waste of time—the store didn’t have the phone and provided me with entirely different information than your phone representative. To make matters worse, the store employees were rude and unprofessional, which only added to my frustration.

I’ve been a loyal customer for over 20 years, and this experience has made me question that loyalty.

Today, I was told that since I couldn’t get the phone in-store, I would be sent a replacement phone free of charge. However, after choosing a different model because the original one was out of stock (with no clear timeline for restocking), I received an email indicating I’d be charged $7.00 per month for the device.

While $7 a month may not seem like much, it’s the principle that matters. I was told one thing and then presented with something completely different—again. This pattern of misinformation and lack of follow-through has happened repeatedly, and it’s unacceptable.

At this point, I’ve lost trust in your company. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and make an effort to resolve this matter properly

Rip-Off for Seniors

I have had T-Mobile for 11 years now. The service is great, however, they continuously try to up the price of my plan. They say I'm was "grandfathered in" and trying to get rid of that. It was a senior discount program. I am a senior on a fixed income. I will have to get another provider due to this. Six months ago they tried to raise it but I got them to lower it. When I called this time, the CS agent said she can't do anything about it and that I would have to go through Customer Relations. Easier to switch.

T-Mobile had a net profit of 11.3 billion in 2024. They don't have to raise prices at all. I guess they're not rich enough.

T-Mobile has the greedy ethics of Sprint used to

T-Mobile used awesome. But when they acquired Sprint acquired their bad habits and greedy ethics. As electronics tech Guy I swear and tested they have twice as slow then they were 10 years ago. Up charging. $20 fee because you're 10 days late and shut off. No mercy no Grace just about the mighty Dollar and how much they can bleed you. We'll go to another carrier. Patriot

Do yourself a favor and stay away from…

Do yourself a favor and stay away from tmobile. We have been customers for years. My husband needed an iPad for his job and after two failed delivery attempts by usps (we get deliveries here everyday, so it's unclear why it could not be delivered) I called them to help with my dilemma. They told me that they would have it returned to their warehouse and I could travel to another store in a town about 45 miles away and purchase one immediately. The representative assured me that the contract would be canceled and I would not be charged for it as soon as they received it back in their warehouse. FIRST LIE! That was THREE MONTHS AGO! They confirmed it had been recieved in their warehouse on March 13th( I had conflicting dates from 2 different representatives, one said they had it on the 11th). SECOND LIE! I have kept notes every time I've had a conversation with them and called them on lie after lie. I have been hung up on and had my chat deleted and disconnected. Today is May 15th and I just paid my bill for the second month since they have had their iPad back in their warehouse and it has yet to be removed from my bill. I have repeatedly called them and been told on at least 5 occasions that it was being expedited. THIRD, FOURTH AND FIFTH LIES! Their inability to simply remove a device from my contract has caused me more mental stress than I have ever encountered over such a simple thing! I have literally been in tears on the phone with them! Last month after thinking it had finally been resolved I went to the local store to get a tablet and was humiliated and shocked to be told that once again it has not been resolved. The ONLY reason I went to get a tablet is because the representative offered me a "deal"! I have screenshots of that entire conversation!! I hate talking to their representatives as well. They make me so mad with their false concern and fake manners. They clearly know that I have no choice but to pay the damn bill because we have to have our devices and numbers for my husband's job. This is by far the absolute worst experience I have EVER had with a mobile carrier! Awful, awful, awful, unprofessional liars!

Update to review I wrote April 29th.

I waited a week to see if I would be contacted about reimbursement of my overpayment. The third CS rep told me he had sent all my information to someone higher up but honestly I didn’t really think that he would.

So last Wednesday after receiving my second statement showing my credit I decided to try calling CS for the fourth time. I was connected to a lady named Sam who knew exactly how to handle this matter. Unlike the previous guy she just sent me a link with a new pin # after I answered a few questions to confirm my identity.

She handled the whole process in about ten minutes and said I would see my credit amount back on my card in 5-8 days. Today being day 5 I received an alert from my bank about my credit.

Thank you Sam for being a gracious and competent T mobile representative. The other ones need a lot more training.

6 hours hold and still no customer service. Total scam.

Dear Friends, We just wanted to let folks know that we have now spent 6 hours trying to reach someone at T-Mobile to activate our sim card. The customer service is no longer available. We tried the online chat while logged into our account and it was useless and we were just sent an AUTHENTICATION link that did not work--while we were already logged into our account. We have been on hold with TMOBILE for about 4 hours and no one picks up the line. Terrible service. Totally useless.

The t mobile experience I wish I would have avoided

The worst phone carrier I ever had . Paid for unlimited data didn't get it . Internet connection in and out . Customer service non existent. And the billing I went from 55 a month to 144. I'm stopping service with them today . Don't waist your time with them or you will regret it And no I was not paid to write this This is an attempt to save other people thinking about mobile as a phone carrier big mistake

Does not honor Price lock

I have been with T-Mobile for over 21 years. Liked the previous CEO. Got on a plan with pricelock in 2023. However, yhe new CEO is not honoring those contracts and increasing the price. He can do this, since T-Mobile do not allow for anyone to sue. Otherwise T-Mobile would already have a class action lawsuit going against it. Stay away.

Upgraded our phones with TMOBIL

Upgraded our phones which was no problem, also upgraded 2 Apple Watches which t mobile gave us a $250.00 promo for each one. I get my bill a month later and they remove one apple watch from the promo. No explanation why. I am thinking of dropping them, even though they are cheaper.

Should not be a company.

This is a follow up to the review written about not receiving my account # when my phone was stolen. I'm just now, 3 days later finding out that there wasn't even an effort to emailing my account # to me, and that there is no way to do so. So they wasted the time of a paying customer to avoid the work. Since T-Mobile does not regard their paying customers when an emergency arises, or even worse, penalizes their paying customers that have a situation, There is no need for them as a phone service provider(Or anything.). I am going to make sure any and every person I encounter knows how T-Mobile operates.
