Disappointing recent experience

I love toco swim and have been a supporter for years - I have multiple bikinis and swimsuits and the material is gorgeous! However, I am disappointed with my most recent experience. I ordered 2 bikinis in their latest launch (both of which did not fit very well) so I returned them. The return address given was not correct and Royal Mail could not deliver to them, and therefore the parcel has been “returned to sender”. This has been weeks now, and Royal Mail have informed me there was no return address on the label so they’re not sure if they can return it to me, or when. Toco customer service have not been very helpful in this process, they informed me that it was because they are moving warehouse. Im now out of pocket (over £150), with no bikinis and no offer of any solutions from Toco. Really disappointed

Amazing customer service

I got a swimsuit from Toco last year and love it - and went for a slightly different style this year. Unfortunately, I needed to try a few sizes so did 2 exchanges.

The team were super helpful in getting everything sent quickly and responding to me within the same day each time.

It's worth paying that little bit more for the quality and service! Would recommend to anyone.

DO NOT PURCHASE UNLESS YOU ARE 100% SURE YOU WILL KEEP ITEM. THEY WILL NOT REFUND.

I have had the same returns experience as all the previous reviews in recent months. I have emailed several times and contacted them through their website and nothing, they don't appear to have any phone numbers. I returned some items and paid postage myself. Only 2 of 4 items were refunded and 2 were returned to me, and another £10 deducted even though I covered my own return cost. They are unused, perfect condition, all labels and hygiene stickers in place. So I think the company is doing the same thing to lots of customers when they return and refusing them for no reason and then you can't get in contact with them to do anything about it. Perhaps they will reply to this review sooner than any of my emails. I was returning the items as the tops aren't supportive at all.

Completely disorganised business with…

Completely disorganised business with shockingly poor customer service. Despite one of the founders personally requesting on my previous review that I email them directly, there has been no acknowledgement or response whatsoever. Since then, the situation has only deteriorated, with the customer service team repeatedly dragging out the process and replying with vague, two-line responses that offer no explanation or resolution.

This exchange process has been ongoing since 12 December, and it is genuinely the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. The latest claim is that a refund was processed before the holidays yet no such refund has reached my payment method. My bank has had to step in and raise a chargeback.

The lack of transparency, accountability, and basic competence is astonishing. I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this brand. You can find far better quality products and significantly better service elsewhere.

Returns - experience throughout December 2025

Returns: this aspect has little ro be desired and I am in full agreement with previous reviewer. Firstly, I too had to return a costume that did not fit and, due to earlier non delivery it arrived late which meant that the 14 days return policy was not met. After emailing, I was given an address to return the goods but I had to pay for postage and packaging. I received my refund with £4 deducted even though I had already paid for it. I await a reply on this. Secondly, my daughter had to return the bottoms to a two piece with hygiene sticker still in place. This was returned with an email stating there was a stain on the bottoms. A photo was included - honestly? When we received the returned bottoms we looked everywhere for this stain. We passed it around to friends and family, even got out a torch to look inch by inch over it, we could not find a stain that could be seen with the naked eye. I can only assume that the 'stain' shown on the bottoms in the photo sent to us was not the same bikini bottoms or, the photo has been enhanced many, many times to try and find something that will give reason to not refund. Very disappointing for a company that says it wants to empower women, as long as there are no complaints or refunds requested.

To address the refund first - the amount not refunded (£3.50 - which is the £4 we believe you are referring to) relates to the original outbound shipping cost, which, as outlined in our Terms & Conditions, is non-refundable. The £5 return processing fee you’ve referenced would only apply if a customer uses our prepaid returns label, which in this case you did not, so this was not deducted from your refund.

Regarding the item itself, due to the hygienic nature of swimwear, our warehouse team carries out very thorough checks on all returns. Unfortunately, we’re unable to accept items back if they show signs of wear or staining, as it wouldn’t be appropriate for another customer to receive them dirty. We want to reassure you that we would never exaggerate or misrepresent this - it’s not in our interest to do so - and this policy is in place purely for hygiene reasons given the intimate nature of swimwear. We understand how disappointing this can be, and we truly don’t take these situations lightly.

We’re really sorry for the frustration this has caused. While we do have to remain consistent with this policy, we try to make it as clear as possible throughout the returns process to avoid disappointment. For context, over 97% of our returns are refunded without issue, and we always aim to be fair and transparent which is why you will have received photographic evidence of the mark.

Do not buy to try on for size! You will not get a refund

Bought a bikini as a trial to buy a few for my honey moon, I purchased two styles of tops and bottoms, the bottoms were too small and the one style of top didn’t suit. I tried on and bagged up to return. I then purchased the bigger size in the bottoms and they were perfect. I returned for store credit as I was going to buy 4/5 more.
They were then shipped back to me as damaged.
Do not buy to try on for size as you will not get a refund!

In this case, the bikini bottoms returned to us did show marks, which meant we were unable to process them as a return or exchange.

This isn’t something we take lightly - and it’s never our intention to disappoint - but we do have to apply this policy consistently, regardless of whether a customer plans to exchange or make further purchases. This is to ensure that no customer ever receives an item that has been marked or compromised in any way.

We do our very best to make this clear throughout the ordering and returns process, including guidance to try swimwear over underwear, on clean skin, and without creams or deodorants. This helps protect both our customers and the integrity of the products.

Nice swimsuits, but if returning be mindful

Ordered two swimsuits from this company, they arrived and they felt like good quality (not necessarily exceptional but better than cheaper alternatives) but upon opening them I knew they wouldn't fit me so I didn't bother trying them on. I processed them to be returned. I was able to return one item but the other swim wear they wouldn't accept as it had tiny white mark (smaller than a nail) on it in a non compromising area (it was on a sleeve I think). The only conceivable thing that could have happened was the mark coming from the packaging I reused from them (?) The mark came off with a wipe with a dry cloth when it was sent back to me though they still wouldn't accept a refund. I now have a very expensive swimsuit that I cannot wear - nor can pass to friends (doesn't fit them either) and am out £60 plus postage fees - this review is not necessarily a indictment on the company as I think it is standard practice to not generally accept refunds on items like this but to flag to any future buyers. This seems to be something that has happened to a few people as reflected in a few other reviews- so I think worthwhile being careful when receiving or returning items to this brand - make sure you take pictures documenting the item is in good condition before returning - though in general I think this is good practice for anything very expensive.

Not very nice company

The swimwear is fine, a little over priced. The customer service was awful. I was sent a pair or swimwear with the tiniest mark on it that I didn't even think to mention it. When I returned it they refused to believe they could possibly have sent it like that and accused me of marking it saying I couldn't have a refund. Given their swimwear was £45 I couldn't really afford to pay for their mistake. Their customer service was very unpleasant and to make things worse they kept signing their replies off with kisses which isn't helpful when you're already annoyed. Anyway it eventually was refunded by the co-founder who sent me a really horrible and quite shocking email accusing me of causing her customer service team stress (without apologising for the stress I had been caused by their mistake) and she still refused to admit there was any chance they could have sent the item out marked. Oh and when they returned it to me the small mark was easily wiped off so it honestly seems like a money making scheme because they could have easily tried this themselves. I'm not a horrible person so obviously wouldn't bother leaving a bad review if I knew I had marked the item (I was aware of their refund policy and was very careful when trying on the items) so yeah it was quite upsetting and left me not wanting to buy from them again which is a shame.

The best swimwear!

After years of struggling to find swimwear that is supportive but flattering, I have found my new go to brand!

Absolutely love the material and fit of the Havana bikini top, fete bottoms and Carib one piece I recently purchased. Although on the higher end of my price range, I will definitely be purchasing more toco swimwear as the quality and support provided is unmatched!

The customer service has been amazing. All round a great brand and I will definitely be a repeat customer!

My immediate go-to for swimwear. I have tested a LOT of swimwear out there on the market and none come close to the high quality fabric, gorgeous designs and competitive price point of Toco. Toco Swim

I've been a Toco Swim customer for years, and I can honestly say they're hands down once of the best companies I've ever bought from. Not only are their items such high quality and super stylish, the customer service I've received from them has been impeccable. When they've not had sizes in stock that I've ordered, they've personally emailed me to explain what went wrong; I've returned swimsuits without an issue as I follow the hygiene rules (I'm always super careful about this one), and the way they interact with customers to make changes to their bikinis is border-line genius. They are really led by the customer, and it's so nice to see how far they've come in such a short space of time! I look forward to their social posts and new releases all the time!

I find it really hard to find swimwear I feel good in and that fits me well (as a small back, big cup gal) but the Carib swimsuit is amazinggggg! I love the material, the way it can be adjusted and just how long it makes me feel. I love what the Toco brand stands for and will definitely buy again!

The best bikini’s

So glad I found these bikini! How did I live without them, I do not know! There so flattering. I want one in every colour. Purchased another one for my most recent holiday in another colour and style, loved it! Highly recommend! I also had an issue with one previously and the customer service was 10/10 sent me a new one out the next day.
